I remember going that Lashlee improved Miamis scoring output to its highest figure in over a decade and it wasnt enough for people.

And when Lashlee was forced to play a QB who eventually turned out to be much better in the passing game than King, the offense put up even more numbers and bigger point totals compared to prior. We averaged 35 a game and never went below 28 in scoring points.

Seems weird to hate that.
No one hated Lash. Everyone recognized he was our best OC in 15+ years. But his run game was awful even with a sub-par OL (would literally call inside zone for 0-2 yards 10x a game. Mind numbing) and his O did little against any big name opponent.

Was still great overall, fun to watch, and we'd all take him back in a heartbeat (w/ a few new run plays...). Glad he got an HC opportunity. But his O did have flaws which he failed to correct

Anyone that knows anyone that was in the 82D, you know they train you to run.
And run we did. And it became very easy to me.

Are people bashing Sonny Dykes and Garrett Riley for TCU's running game on Monday?

Sometimes you just get the **** kicked out of you, physically.

I don't think anyone blamed Michael Spinks' trainer when he fought Mike Tyson.

Yep. What was TCU going to do after turning it over and Georgia scoring at will? Not a **** thing. Like us against Clemson that one season…once it got off the the rails against the team that was better from the start it was over and ugly.

I'm glad to see some better perspective on Lashlee now. People are saying it wasn't a majority, but my memory of the last 2 seasons is that there was a double standard in a lot of the fan talk.

2021: OC runs a good scheme. Reaction: "With the decent OL we have, why does he keep failing at times with the talent we have?"

2022: OC runs a crap scheme. Reaction: "Well you can't expect anything until you replace all these jags."

We had 8 yards in the first half against Clemson, man.

EIGHT. YARDS.

I'm gonna go for a run, just thinking about Lashlee and Gattis and offense and thinking of what I watched for 3 months this fall ruined my entire afternoon.

I look forward to your running game being stronger than theirs…

Not turning this into a Lashlee thread, but he was good enough to win you 9-10 games.

But against competent, good defenses…nope. Not elite.
