Nah... As one of the few Lashlee defenders on the board, he was without question hated by the majority of the board.

A lot of people bemoaned that entire offseason about how we couldn’t convert short yardage & thus needed to shift the focus offensively to being more of a Power attack upfront... and then the 22 season happened.

But there’s no question that Lash towards the end of his run was severely hated on here, illogically so might I add.
Well I liked him. I didn't realize he was getting bashed here.

That was the stupidest movement I remember.

I enjoyed when we could score points with Lashlee, because even though we played mediocre teams we could still find the end zone. I also thought it was pretty cool when we could see space between receivers

I still run 6 minute one miles. I still look good. And I'm black and age like fine wine.

Anyone that knows anyone that was in the 82D, you know they train you to run.
And run we did. And it became very easy to me.

He got bashed for his run game and deservedly so (see Alabama goal line situation and many others) and the tempo pace got out of hand at times, he could’ve slowed it down some.

Not so much his passing game. He did what he could with what we had on the offensive line.

I remember going that Lashlee improved Miamis scoring output to its highest figure in over a decade and it wasnt enough for people.

And when Lashlee was forced to play a QB who eventually turned out to be much better in the passing game than King, the offense put up even more numbers and bigger point totals compared to prior. We averaged 35 a game and never went below 28 in scoring points.

Seems weird to hate that.

Are people bashing Sonny Dykes and Garrett Riley for TCU's running game on Monday?

Sometimes you just get the **** kicked out of you, physically.

I don't think anyone blamed Michael Spinks' trainer when he fought Mike Tyson.

For every person who complained about Lashlee, there was one who pointed out that you can't make a silk purse from a sow's ear and his scheme was doing all it can to overcome the glaring weaknesses in the roster.
The difference is...

Lashlee’s Offense for it’s flaws, maximized the deficiencies of the roster, he could take an Offense with mostly mid-tier 3-star kids & still produce multiple 400+ yard games & average 34 ppg.

Gosh Jattis Offense exacerbated the deficiencies of the roster & made them worse.

If your Offense can’t function unless it has over 30+ 5-star caliber players on it, then you’re not a good Coach.

Understood but my point was that his running game was the one area he was bashed for and too much tempo at times.

Overall, he wasn’t bashed on here as a bad OC like some people are saying.

His passing concepts were solid with what we had as a team aand like you said, he put up points. Made us competitive when Manny and his defense were abhorrent.

So this is accurate what you say.

But people here in the MAJORITY (there are always some) weren’t bashing him as a bad OC.

Funny thing is, Gosh Jattis’s run game was categorically worse...

Spinks was so good.

He just ran into young Mike Tyson, who had one of the best primes an athlete could have.
