The Gattis offense isn't terrible for a slot receiver. I could see why X wouldn't hate it as much as others I guess

Our WR recruiting (HS and Portal) was dreadful last year too, and Gattis was coming off of winning the Broyles award. I honestly don't believe MC moving on from Gattis a few weeks before the early signing period/the current portal period opening would have made a lick of difference in the grand scheme.

What I do find interesting from the Lee pictures is that the majority of the defensive staff is present and their isn't a single offensive coach there except for Mirabal.

This is sooooo misleading. He was at penn state for four years and produced 1 quality receiver in Godwin who was a highly rated 4 star.

The Alabama guys, Jeudy is the only one I would give him real credit for because 18 under Gattis was his sophomore year. He only coached those guys for 1 year.

People’s Jones only had 1 year with Gattis and statistically slightly regressed.

Nico Collins slightly improved statistically under Gattis who he only had for 1 year!

The only player that Gattis has truly developed and worked with for more than 1 year is Godwin.
