I think so too. But trust is certainly a factor and Mario and Ponce go way back. Bring Coley back and it's like the 3 amigos.

Mario certainly has been given the financial resources to bring whoever he wants but familiarity may trump just going after the next big name out there.

Whomever he brings in needs to have some choice about position coaches as well, we need far better continuity on the the staff to avoid another epic **** show.

There are plenty of good WR coaches we could add. And really the system the OC will bring will be more important than who the WR coach is for recruiting. You put Harline on Michigan, and he isn't getting all these 5 star guys.

This is 100% incorrect. Ponces house has been for sale for over a month, Gattis house is not.

And we have a head coach who is an elite recruiter and doesn't add Xs and Os value so I dunno about this idea of using offensive coaching spots on "recruiters", seems like we should be hiring guys that are actually good at coaching.
