Mario not jumping on top OC candidates is infuriating. It’s led to so many offensive problems and a complete lack of talented WR’s. This same problem going into second year is not acceptable. Mario’s recruiting prowess is not worth his **** Offense and Offensive staff. We won’t win a thing unless huge changes are made. I’m slowly losing faith in MC.

I think he's already got his next OC on the staff- Ponce. It is not a secret that Mario planned / expected for Gattis to be successful and get a HC offer in the next 2-3 years. It only took Lashlee two years. The plan was to replace Gattis with Ponce, and there would be minimal fan outcry because continuity is good. Circumstances are different, but the overall plan is still the same.

What Ponce ran at App St was way more impressive than anything done by Gattis on offense but that doesn’t mean he should be our OC but if @BCntyCane is saying that and the fact I don’t see Mario replacing both Gattis and Ponce (I could be wrong), I think this is where it’s headed with Coley coming in (WR Coach/bad *** recruiter) and TAMU getting a new OC in Bobby Petrino.
