The fact remains we are still a top 5 or 6 class w/o Cormani. Would losing him be tough? Sure. But some are implying the class is a debacle if we lose him.

We just need proper perspective. I get as fans we get emotional but, man, some here are borderline emotional wrecks and need to get a life.
the class is 7th without Cormani.

i hope so. I don't think Ponce did anything to make Gattis offense easier for the QB room......

From what has been said, he made the situation worse.... TVD needs a solid QB coach this season
no one on here (or very very very very very few) know whether this is true. whether ponce exacerbated, lessened or did nothing to the QB situation

The ONLY thing that has been reported is that Gattis and Ponce didn't get along and had different ideas of how the QB should perform. So ... since Ponce reports TO Gattis ... you have to assume that Ponce had minimal if any impact on the QB's as he wasn't permitted to do what he wanted to do.

Gattis returning tells me Mario’s chatter about accountability and transparency does not apply to the coaching staff.
All Mario cares about is Talent Acquisition. Just listen to all his interviews from this past year. A competent coaching staff is secondary for him. Which is a scary *** realization. He’s gonna have 85 4 and 5 stars in 2 years just to go 9-3 every year because he gets outcoached in half of the games.

ATM fans were saying a similar thing about Jimbo, but then he went out and got an A+++ OC in Petrino. He might be a scumbag, but that dude can coach offense. Cristobal should follow suit and hire Art Briles (who is currently coaching an American football team in Italy lol)

When 3 5/Star WRs from the area left, he should have realized his coaching staff and offensive reputation may be impacting talent acquisition…

Lol Mario would retire before he hires an offensive mind like Briles

In a vacuum I don’t mind Frank Ponce as QB coach

My issue is that by going with the combo of WR coach /OC + QB coach, you severally limit yourself in future hiring because that’s not the norm
send ponce de Leon back to app state. let him catch on elsewhere in the p5 as a qb coach esp if we bring in a new oc

If Gattis returns, not saying he is, it really will blow apart his rhetoric about accountability. If you want Saban results, you need to be cut throat like Saban. Ask yourself - would Nick bring Gattis back, or get a new OC?
