Mario witnessed the train wreck that was Miami offense in 2022

Mario lives for recruiting, and he’s got to hear WR recruits say “coach I love what you’re doing at Miami but I can’t play in that offense”

Plus TVD has likely used it as leverage to be willing to stay at Miami

Gattis is gone….. but keep complaining everyday until it happens

All speculation. Two can play that game:

Mario thinks the problem was the roster and injuries, as evidenced by the amount of roster turnover.
There is no evidence that any WR told Mario “no” because of the style of offense we run.
TVD got paid by Life Wallet to stay (for the record I think it’s a huge mistake on his part but money talks)

What we know for certain: it’s 12/31 and Josh Gattis is still the Offensive Coordinator for the University of Miami.

You’re a ret@rd if your only logic that Gattis is staying is centered on him NOT being fired by some arbitrary date that you set….. which also completely ignores the timeline and logistics of bowl games wrapping up

My speculation is Gattis is looking (he was a one and done OC) and can’t find anything worth a **** after the abomination of a season he just had. Also, Gattis wants to be a HC but that certainly isn’t happening.

Mario isn’t going to fire him at this point so we may end up stuck together for another year. But he isn’t “gone” as you’re making out to be. Will anyone be dumb enough to hire him? Hopefully, we get lucky but I doubt he finds anyone paying him the contract we gave him.
