Again, Mario isn’t an idiot. He realizes that he needs to adapt on offense in order to attract the premier offensive talent, especially down here.

Oh, and TCU had a 497:402 split for running vs. passing. It’s not particularly fast either - so there’s some clock control.

Thank you for explaining it to the dumdum

The amount of times people incorrectly label a coach or offense AirRaid is annoying

Newsflash, there are more ways to run the ball than out of prostyle or 2 TE formations.

Space and numbers is how it’s done by the successful offenses

I'm dumb for asking a question? LOL

Garret Riley's offensive production at TCU in 2022 is EXACTLY what Mario said he wants ... A balanced offensive attack with the ability to run the ball and attack vertically:

-Passing Stat. 264/402 (66%) 3549 yards, 31 TD's and 4 ints.
-Rushing Stat. 497 rushes for 2600 yards, 33 TD's.
-Total Plays 899. Passing plays 402 (45%). Rushing plays 497 (55%).
-Total offensive ranking #16; Passing O #25; Rushing O #25.

Just what the doctor ordered for UM.
I’ll add 18th in ypp, so there’s explosiveness.

With the speed guys that Mario is adding, and the 6'6" outside WR's he is going after in the portal, + adding a fletcher type back (and hoping Citizen recovers 100%), this offense could be nasty ... with the RIGHT OC. That is critical. It would be a shame to put together this elite roster and turn it over to an OC that lacks the basic creativity to even game plan against opponents. Like building a Ford GT race car and giving it to some kid who is just getting a learners permit.

Another realization I had is Lashlee and Garret Riley both would recently come from Sonny Dykes teams, I’d have to imagine terminology would be similar and very much appeal to TVD/Garcia

Not currently, Quentin is an absolute stud.

DuBose has been my #1 want at WR in the portal for weeks now, and he could have that type of impact.
Yeah we’ll definitely need the help. Not sure if he has any recruiting chops either, but he has Texas ties I bet.

🤞🏽 the hire happens though

Thank You! Again, I don't think most of this board watches any other football games than ours.

Also: our QB is only making one read. Yeah, he made the read before the snap and knows where the throw is.

Nah, but when he hires Garrett Riley it will.
