1) Uhh yea I do. If they did then he would’ve been recruited there and guess what? No one is recruiting him as a safety.

2) Frierson will probably move to safety if we get Surtain, other than that he’s staying put.

3) It’s pretty obvious the plan B has been in place for awhile and it doesn’t involve Divaad Wilson. Apparently you’re not smart enough to pick it up.

Writing is on the wall only way Frierson goes to saftey is if we get pat Surtain. Kerryon Smith is gonna end up being the guy and he might not be jobe but he is pretty **** good too.

Jobe is worse then Chris Henderson bc jobe has played Miami fans(coaches know what is going on) for a long time. Henderson going to Florida was not premeditated but he didn’t like getting disciplined for acting like a child so we somewhat pushed him there. What I don’t understand is jobe is supposed to be boys with bandy, Frierson, Ivey, has preached be 1000% committed why would you not just decomitt instead of disrespecting your friends and hometown like that? It’s looking like it is pretty set in stone he is not coming here anymore just the fakeness on the way out is what is gonna get him knocked on his *** in that 2021 game.

NO to Kerryon Smith. Go out and get another 5 star from out of state to replace Jobe, or if you whiff you whiff. Then grab an elite guy next year. Filling up the roster with "underrated" 3 stars is what got Golden in trouble.

Hoping we don't make the same mistakes again.

We are not on the level of these programs yet have the number two recruiting class in the nation and we still have people complaint? Hate to see what some of y’all people do when you have something go wrong at your job or in real life.

I'm sure he's good, but he's rated 3 stars for a reason.

We got Robert Knowles and Redwine as consolation prizes because we whiffed on some big safety recruits. We got Trayone Gray because we whiffed on Dalvin Cook.

And you know what guys said at that time? "Knowles is big and fast, an underrated South Florida kid who goes and balls out somewhere else blah blah". Dudes are still holding out hope for Gray, that dude was hyped up so much by this board.

Finding underrated 3 star gems is something USF or FIU should do. It shouldn't be Miami's thing. We need to be loading up our roster with All Americans, like Alabama and Ohio State.

This year's class is a good start. I'm not complaining at all about the job this staff is doing overall. They're the best staff in America.

Doesn't mean they can sleep. In Jobe's case specifically, they need to pull a Jeudy / Jeff Thomas act and find a stud replacement, not some "underrated" 3-star Knowles type.

Im not a bear, no need to be aggressive. Im not faulting Pete for Jobe's flakiness and or inmaturity. Just stating that if/when it goes down most likely Pete will release some kind of statement like that.

I didn't answer your question. Alabama has 65 4/5 stars on its roster (out of 85), and OSU has around 60. Clemson has 40. We have 25.

Technically a prep school athlete at this point.

You'd ideally like someone of Jobe's age and status as a 2 year commitment to be a leader of Storm 18 and not one of its biggest question marks. Sometimes guys like that work out, but they flame out just as much, too. Some guys are on campus as much as they can be, learning what they need to do to play early and contribute, others are on Twitter doing whatever they're doing-- trolling, flipping, tiddly-winking, whatever... You know which are the better prospects.

To your point, Pete can only report what he's told or what he thinks, and neither can be expected to be 100% accurate for anybody. ****, if you ask out staff about Jobe you'll get different answers on this kid. I am whatever on the kid. Great talent, but if he doesn't want to be here after we held up our end of the deal, so be it.

The writing is on the wall from the staff on this one too. Has to be a reason we haven’t sent a single coach to meet with him or his family this week. Either our coaches know he’s gone, or they are all on the same page with his little troll game.

I’m actually thinking he’s been gone of awhile...it explains us getting involved with Keidron Smith late and never giving him an offer, same can be said with John Huggins.

Please offer Smith. He's built like Jobe and has potential to be just as good. Younger and still developing.

Shhhhh don’t say that. He’s a lousy 3* star do theirs no way that’s possible. Also don’t mention you work for ETSU football.

We Missed on a four star corner prospect, people are quick to forget little Nicky was on a helicopter to see gurvan hall a couple months ago. Don’t think he is flipping, i thought we lost all battle with bama? No team gets every prospect no team gets all four and five star recruits. Thank god we are in Miami so the 5-10 3 stars we take a class(like almost every other power program) have a better chance to develope and succeed. Our coach just won coach of the year. If you are complaining about this coach and staff then you would prob complain that your shot is brown.

To be honest are we sure we want This guy now he doesn't seem like the brightest guy in the room. His number and math as you can see is awful from the post also still struggling to pass prep school at 20. Just seem like a guy who is just all athlete and going to struggle picking up playbook like Mullins and be lost in coverage like McCloud but all the time and you guys are going to hate him 2 years from now anyways

I'm pretty sure I said in another reply to you that we have the best coach/staff in America. I believe we do. But it's human nature to settle when you whiff - that's how we ended up with Knowles, Redwine, Trayone Gray, Fines, etc on our roster. My only point is that we shouldn't settle - we already have a handful of All American DB's committed - we should either swing for the fences and land the 4/5 stars like Surtain, Campbell, Samuel, or maybe someone out of state, or if we whiff then we should save the spot for next year and grab a guy like Akeem Dent.

No more taking fliers on "underrated" guys. Your ceiling is Boise State or Wisconsin if you build your roster with underrated types. You become Alabama when you build your roster with All Americans.
