:ohlord:….One thing about Bama fans they are passionate about their team (good and bad) and I live right in the center of it. I really hope we get in over them lol. They may lobby for their team but a lot of them are ready to kick the coach to the curb.

All the Miami hate and how putrid our defense(less) looks could actually play into our favor. Other fan bases would absolutely tune into our games to presumably watch us get wrecked. Am I doing this right? I don't care how we get there. I'd watch us play and so would all of you. We lost to GT who just took GA to 30 overtimes and cuse who have one of the best passing offenses in the country. We should've won both of those games, for sure, but let's not act like we got blown out. We're 10-2 and the definition of an "at large team" that was projected to take the ACCCG and #3 seed up until yesterday. We lost a couple of battles, but if the war goes on we need to tighten up and push forward.

Louisville, GT, Cuse, Duke, and UF all received votes in the AP last week. From what I can tell, 3 teams lost that should drop out of the top 25. 2-3 of the above teams should be ranked this week.

A chunk of our fan base also likes Duke basketball/the Yankees/cowboys/bulls(or lakers) depending on age.

They are the first to put everyone on notice at 8-0 and the first to say I told you so when something goes wrong.

This loss sucked..esp the way it went down. But after 20 years and a college football landscape that is completely different and still evolving I’m going hold off judgement on next year until next year. Crazy concept I know.

This board should be great the next few weeks.

If you look at the losses Bama has, they have no business getting in with a worse record. Losing 2 close games on the road to fringe top 25 teams is way better than getting destroyed by a bad OK team and beat by Vandy. It also just took 8 OTs for UGA to beat one of the teams we lost to. The committee was created to discuss scenarios like this and decide. Bama shouldn’t even be considered to make it in.

Not going to get my hopes up (because we know how these things generally play out) but here is the case for us getting in:
- #1 offense
- two close road losses by five points or less
- We were ranked 6th don’t see us dropping out of the top 12 this week
- We will likely have 1-2 ranked wins (Duke, Louisville). Syracuse may also be ranked.
- Dinich despite how annoying she can be gets to sit in on these committee meetings and is the most fact based about her assessment
- the committee has been rating the ACC more strongly then the general public (who thought the two loss Clemson would be ranked above the three loss SEC teams last week)
- The three (Bama, USCe, Ole Miss) three loss SEC teams don’t have separation between them plus:
- Ole miss smoked USCe
- Bama lost to a terrible Oklahoma team
- We have a common opponent with Ole Miss (Florida) and we know how that turned out
I know things defensively have not been good but I want to see Cam play for us one more time. All that being said if Clemson beats SMU we have no shot

I think we won 10 games and just about every other team out there has plenty of flaws and incomplete resumes.

No one‘s going to tell me we don’t deserve to be in over three loss teams from other conferences, just because they are in that conference

I agree. I want to see cam ward and restrepo one more game at least in playoff. Maybe we win a game in playoff. I am a fan and we all want that.
