Look forward when assessing our RBs (not at this past season even though we were 15th in ypc). Chaney put on weight post-injury (understandable) which likely helped him prevent re-injury but also cost him a step. He was still good nonetheless. Parrish has never been a real home run threat but was consistent & highly productive. Fletcher was very good for a freshman & will only get better. CJ not playing much at all this yr limited the number of explosive plays at the position.

CJ has potential to be an absolute superstar with his world class speed, quick feet, cuts & vision. His PT was only limited this yr due to his need to become a better blocker, a little stronger & the fact that we had a stable of more experienced backs. He can be an absolute superstar running behind our line.

Citizen is also more explosive than any of the other backs (other than CJ) that played this yr. He will provide some explosive runs.

Kevin Riley is a home run hitter.

Brash
Another thing we need to do is make sure that Brashard Smith stays. I realize that in this NIL era we are in that losing players who you would rather keep is just a reality. Still, keeping Brashard and better utilizing him should be a priority for this staff.

This is not a good thing. This kid sucked. Means they got someone much better already lined up

Maybe via the portal but even that isn’t a guarantee of multi-year success. McCord was their choice so it shows they can miss at QB, not to mention the issue in the trenches.

they didn't kick him out they told him he wasn't guaranteed his job. there would be a competition and he could win it back but instead he left. Wanting to bring someone in to compete with your incumbent starter doesn't mean you have someone better coming in look at what happened at Ole Miss. I'm sure Lane is glad Dart didn't leave.

Whether it is a "good thing" or a "bad thing" is unknown.

What we do know is that a QB that Jeremiah had comfort with at Ohio Taint is leaving Taint. And while the "new QB" might be "much better", the same could be said for whoever Miami or F$U pursues.

So ON THIS ISSUE ALONE (who your QB will be), there has been a reset.

Relax.
