We're living in bizarro world where "mister-allergic to WR's" Mario Cristobal has landed Jojo, Carr and Chance...

But I refuse to believe JS ever sniffs a LOI to UM until he does. But I wouldn't be shocked if it happened.

The only way its happens is if Mario has a Grade A portal QB already lined up and JS has been sworn to secrecy.

If we had a dog on the roster at qb I think we would land him. But since we don’t he knows that he’s not coming. The safest bet is osu that’s all business. FSU qb is gone
Put some respect on this young man's name.

Kid got heart, dog ain’t probably the word then. Talent, I want a better talent at that spot. A true duel threat
That kid was starting against POO, #4 team on the road... he had mad yips. But still made great decisions. Yes he wasn't terribly accurate - but kept us in the game, and played like a f'ng dog IMO.

I too wish he was 'better' in that position, but that performance is something to build of off.

I will say it was interesting to note a ton of Ohio St media outlets and fans trashing Coleman's performance against Miami. While their goal was to highlight he's the best FSU has and that pales in comparison to what the Suckeyes produce up north, they're undoubtedly feeling uneasy and nervous about it - to the point that they had to go on social media to project these feelings.

With that being said, I'd be surprised if he does ultimately flip (unless FSU throws an insane bag).

I agree 100% with elevating talent and competition across the board.

That said, Emory is our leader.

Kid literally gave an arm, and represents everything this program is supposed to be about.
100% you're right he embodies everything we're trying to be about & yes he is an unquestioned leader with his mentality. But we can't go into next season with the idea that him or Tyler WILL be the starting qb. We need someone that's a HIGH end reliable starter to come in next season so we don't sabotage another season. So long as we lock that in with any of 5 names that are floating around with us(three in particular)then we're gonna be a PROBLEM next season.

A problem that could be compounded by the right OC, correct?

You guys really gotta stop with thinking each and every problem we see on the field is the result of coaching ALONE... An OC is HUGELY hampered when your QB can't be counted on for the most basic parts of his job... You can't just call whatever knowing it's not likely to work.
