Why do fans take one game and do this overgeneralization deal when they want to spin, just relax lol. We of all fanbases should know it doesn’t work like that. Perhaps he should be looking at and impressed by our consistently impressive offense instead? Lol

Their offense wasn’t impressive Saturday, but that is just one game and unfortunately recruits typically don’t make their decision based off of one game. Unfortunately FSU still has a top 15 scoring O despite the “dud” they layed Saturday and unfortunately they can sell being on track to make a CFP appearance while statistically having one of the most explosive offenses in America. Unfortunately, we can’t do the same and likely never will be able to under this regime.
bc it makes them feel better about their Saint Mario the church of columbus

I agree about FSU's offense overall this year but in reference to Coleman, he hasn't been some elite/game changing WR all year like Marvin Harrison or Nabers. He's scoring a lot of TDs but he only has 42 catches and 562 yards through 10 games. That's 4 catches for 56yds/game. But he does have 10TDs which puts him in elite category in the red zone. But it's not like the offense is running through him like an elite WR like JJ would like to see.

Holes are the most overrated team in country. They loose to UGA, OSU, MICHIGAN, BAMA, WASHINGTON - watch.

That’s quite a limb you went out on there predicting they’d lose against the other top 5 teams in the country…3 of which are ranked ahead of them, so it wouldn’t be overrated…

Yall are stretching… big time … to rationalize things..

Flo mentioned last night that it might have backfired on FSU to have all thé recruits there as they were impressed by miami.
that's because Norvell and the FSU players gave off the impression that Miami would be way outmatched and they'd blow us out by 3+ TDs... instead the recruits saw a young team with a bunch of freshman playing including a true freshman quarterback and a boring offense outgain a playoff contender veteran team and have a chance to tie tie it at the end of the game...

And it gives Mario more validity to push the narrative of “our young guys (2023 class) and you (2024 class) are the future who will lead us back to the top”

Who knows maybe it will work. It kind of is true. “‘Mario’s Guys” are the ones making the biggest impact already - Bain, Fletcher, The Maugoua’s, Lee, Cohen, Cooper, both starting CBs against FSU, Emory, etc.

These are the old kids that had an impact.
[BGCOLOR=initial]George= 153 yards, 2 TDs[/BGCOLOR]
BSmith= 24 yards
Chaney = 85 yards
JWill = 9 tackles
Kam= 6 tackles
Flagg= 4 tackles
LT = 4 tackles
JHH= 1 tackle
Rivers@LT = 0 sacks
Andy = 2/3 FGs, 2 XPts

Others that played:
X = 0 yards
TVD = 2/9, 1 INT
K Smith = 1 tackle
Harvey = 1 tackle
Couch = 0 tackles

14 with meaningful snaps. 10 with big impacts. The rest of the team is Mario's.

The thing you’re correct about is their offense has been more explosive than ours. Our offense has a QB afraid to pass past 10 yards and a true frosh lol. Their passing stats still aren’t all that good. They are the type of offense that does nothing the majority of the time, then one of their deep fades pays off, they are not doing much special in the pass game - they are just taking advantage at having two tall WRs - one being 6’7”. Literally they are more creative in the run game than the pass game.

You want to know the BIGGEST difference between our two passing offenses - when it comes to importance for WR recruiting which this thread is about - we rank like 121st in interceptions/giveaways. FSU ranks 2nd in the nation. So yeah they’re like a top 10-15 offense while never having turnovers basically meanwhile we are a top 50 offense while turning the ball over more than anyone lol. Compare FSU and our WRs season stats. It’s really not all that impressive.

Looks like UF is going to slip into the near 10s once they lose these next 2-3 DTs and a LB. FSU going to finish top 3 maybe 2 if they get Smith. UM likely in the 12-15 range because Mario sucks.

UF will do one of two things.

Blow it all up including firing Napier, or they’ll get desperate and overpay for guys like Mincey / McCray (toying with FSU again) to salvage their class/ranking.

Agreed but if they lose 3 of their top 5 commits that class falls down quick. Amaris Williams, Nasir Johnson, and Xavier Filasaime all seem to be reported to eventually flip. Not including Hayes to Bama or LJ McCray
