This guy is horrible and his portal window is closed to transfer so thank god for that also

Look at the qb’s in the playoffs.
No one there is cam and yet people have said no if ewers or Leonard were to come.
We need to clean up that chemical spill in the defense before we start becoming qb snobs.
Give me elite everyone on defense and an average qb with our run game and oline will sweep this weak *** conference.
Y’all say every qb terrible but we saw what Emory Williams was looking like first hand
I think people are expecting a magical elite QB to appear in the portal that’s as good as Cam and want to come here over Georgia and Oregon. I don’t think people understand how bad this portal class is and the situation we’re in. At this point you just need to land a serviceable starting QB that can get you through 2025
That's late though to bring in a QB and learn a system in time for ND week 1.There should be options after draft evaluations and after Spring ball. In the meantime Mario has some convincing to do.

Mateer was that and picked OU. Mendoza seemed like a no brainer but Miami couldn't beat out Indiana for some reason.I think people are expecting a magical elite QB to appear in the portal that’s as good as Cam and want to come here over Georgia and Oregon. Yup. The good news--in general, it seems like QB play across the nation will be down. Doesn't seem like there are a whole lot of QB stars next season. So, again, if we (or any team) catches a few breaks during the regular season and gets into the playoff, it's not like anyone has to go up against buzzsaws like the Trevor Lawrences, Tuas, Deshaun, etc. of the college world. Anything can happen. It seems like a lot of teams are in the same position we are.I think people are expecting a magical elite QB to appear in the portal that’s as good as Cam and want to come here over Georgia and Oregon. Of course not.I know Mario is polarizing to say the least.
But I highly doubt that he’s been ignoring the qb position.
I doubt that a person who’s been around football since he was a kid and has risen through the coaching ranks and spent time under Nick Saban; has had no plan at all on how he’s going to replace Cam Ward.
And when I say replace I don’t mean equal talent. But at least someone of equal or greater ability than the dudes in the playoffs right now.
I just feel that nobody here is gonna be 100 aboard regardless of who he picks.
The glut of upperclassmen with dozens of starts seems to have processed out, but the reality is there will always be stars that emerge. The problem is that we know for sure that Emory isn’t close to being one of them based on what we’ve actually seen and now we seem to be scrambling to find anyone who has a shot at being the guy for us. Not panic time yet but it’s bleak.Yup. The good news--in general, it seems like QB play across the nation will be down. Doesn't seem like there are a whole lot of QB stars next season. Everyone seems to have been pretty silent today. May just mean that there is nothing to report or they don’t know anything more. Or it could be really good or really bad news. If it was the second, you’d think someone would speak up to up the clocks on this site so I’m guessing there just isn’t anything to report at the moment.I’d greatly appreciate our insiders giving us a solid “no” if that was the case.
Some dude they all seem to regard as credible said that Maiava was "locked in" with USC as of last night but he did not know if anything had been signed yet.Anybody with a 247 account checked in on what the USC board is saying about this?
Is it? Every kid is looking for a starting spot and a bag and it's musical chairs all over. The number of 1st year players in the portal seems staggering. Long gone are the days you could stash QBs and hope someone rises to the top. Unless you're paying big money to keep them on the roster, which seem folks likely don't want to do.This **** right here is why recruiting HS is still important as ****. That we're even looking at this guy shows that the portal isn't the easy fix people make it out to be. First the good qb has to get in the portal and then you have to pull him out when 20 other coaches and collectives are fishing the same ******* spot.
