Uh, no. Teams still playing, upcoming Head Coaching changes, grad transfers...

I'm not saying any of those are guaranteed lottery-winning tickets, but it's not over.

Yes, but you can enter the "spring window" as early as you like, so there really is no "December deadline" for grad transfers.

And somebody did provide a link that says the equivalent of that.

Except if you land a top HS QB recruit in the vast majority of the cases you are in a play him as a freshman or he will transfer situation....but most freshmen aren't ready to play at a high level consistently. Its why portal QBs have become the standard for so many teams, including most playoff teams
 
Gotta hope there's still a plan here. Bit baffling to be honest. We got big *** NIL $ for QB, top 5 oline, just took a QB from 5-7th round to top 5-7 pick. Why aren't QB's lining up to come here or we just being insanely picky (ok with me until you are last one at the dance...). Guess its all in on beck or ewers now?

It's not an exact science.. maybe we can agree, you can't forgo recruiting with the expectation that you'll just pull a playoff contending qb out of the portal every year. That position leaves you open. I think you gotta do both but hs qb recruiting should come first, and then you fill in if you need to. Cam goes to the NFL last year? If we don't find his replacement this year? Gotta have a better plan b than what we have now.
 
I was listening to USC fans over this and its great lol. Lot of panicking
