LOL N HUff and Dorsett are both from the same Hood in Hollywood.
I still dont even think of Huff as an STA he is a Mcarthur kid all the way (my alma mater). Both Dorsett and Huff if Mcarthur had their sh*t right wouldve played there all 4 years.
Phillip was by default because of his cousin Willie but he was sta bound regardless with G leaving and his dad working with STA track lol.

Somebody refresh my memory here, who is the last I profile/high-performing recruit we’ve had from St. Thomas acquiaintance.

My brain doesn’t seem to be working this morning, because the name that keeps popping up in my head is Dorsett.

There had to have been somebody else after him that was pretty good, no?
T Good

Our link is the AD at ST THOMAS whom is TWAN RUSSELL Full blooded Cane.

JT doesnt have the pull like that for the local mercenaries. But he will be a real beast for the national guys and families coming down.

We have ALWAYS have Canes on the coaching staff at OSU and George Smith was very cane friendly
Do you think Twan is going to start funneling us kids from STA?

I keep saying it...STA is one of our feeder schools. It always has been.

We sucked and they may have had kids at different positions that we didnt look at ...but for the most part when we hone in on a kid from there we do good circumstances beware. For example we couldve plucked a wr out of there in last class if we wanted to in Camden Brown.

I think Twan will help the case alot...**** we didnt recruit his own somn 2 classes a go...but he is a die hard cane so it could only help. Daryl Williams coaches there as well...They have some bad azzes in their class of 2024.

They may have 2-3 guys we should lightly recruit or offer in this class as well. A dt, The mlb from Deerfield, and im sure someone else will pop

Appreciate it. Reason I asked is because some guy a few pages back said that the HC directs kids away from the U, but I trust you way more than that guy. So this is great news.

Yea i think we would be alright. Would like to get their class of 2024 qb.

If Mario starts winning we will have guyys having to jump in early because dude recruits nationally.

OSU also pulled his offer though
I cant remember the latter days of his recruitment. Fair point if true. You are on point but what was the deal with that recruitment why were Zach smith and urban still visiting him at the end of the cycle? Miami also beat out turncoats TROB/BMAC for Bruce. character concerns and size prevented him from being a must get national recruit like some other STA guys. Still probably the highest rated sta signee of the decade for UM

Here is what I found. Article from Jan 26 2016

With his last visit to Columbus in October of 2015, the Ohio State recruiting staff's interest in the 5'8, 180-pound WR grew rapidly in the last few weeks. Twice this month, coaches from Ohio State traveled to Florida to visit Bruce, including a visit from the big man himself, Urban Meyer, last week.

at the time Bosa and Trevon Grimes were OSU commits as well
