James Coley better get it together. Use your playmakers!!!

I told yall, Coley is ******' terrible. His concepts suck. We threw ONE pass in the in the middle of the field today. We "high lowed" the LB. Ran a curl in front of him and when he stepped up to cover it we threw a dig behind his head. Simple ******' concept and an easy throw. I don't wanna hear this bull**** about us being scared to throw in the middle with Morris. There's plenty of easy throws in the middle of the field. If you can only run a portion of your playbook because your QB can't be trusted THEN HE SHOULDN'T BE YOUR QB.

The guy is ******' awful. His whole passing game is verticals and out-routes/hitches. We don't utilize the "bubble-slant" concept. We don't utilize the "smash" concept. We don't utilize the "flood concept". Atleast twice in the game we ran the SAME PLAY TWICE IN A ROW!

And we ran that stupid *** reverse again!!!! That **** was snuffed out. Stacy Coley made that play all by himself.

How can anybody in their right mind watch UNC or Wake's offense and then look at our's and say we're not poorly coached? Gotta be naive.

Not sure if serious. Do u actually watch these games?

Not being an *** to you but I see guys open all game long and Morris just doesn't execute properly. The tight ends run free whenever they go out for a pass and I saw one check down to a rb all game long. ( to Hagens)

Do I watch the game? I watch them 3 times over, focusing on different positions every time. WE DON'T UTILIZE THE MIDDLE OF THE FIELD.

Have you rewatched this game yet....because I have rewatched the first three quarters so far and we do run patterns over the middle. Morris does not look at the, at all. Wakes linebackers were bailing at the snap on pass plays...Herb Waters was running crosses wide open.

Couple of examples...2nd Qtr, 9:38... Morris badly overthrows Lewis on the far hash. Waters was wide open on an 8 yd crossing pattern....WIDE OPEN. 3rd Qtr, 11:16... Morris drops, initial read not there.. Drops a couple a steps more and throws one in the dirt to a diving Coley. Watch the play again and Herb was running alone on another 8 yard drag, Morris hits him in stride and it's a big gain.

Also, on the deep throw to Coley in the second quarter where Coley almost made the catch he had Sandland with a step on the Safety going down the middle.

He isn't looking over the middle. We have to clean this up or FSU is going to sit on those outs and pick six....if we see it there is no way Pruitt isn't seeing it. We need to break the stupid V.

Blah, blah, blah... Yeah and Miami can't run a hybrid 3-4 defense with South FL talent.

Coley has had to water down the playbook because Morris has his head buried up his *** right now. Coley isn't terrible. Morris is focking terrible!

some of you fans are crazy the way Morris is playing would you really throw it in the middle of the field ? Coley is doing the best he can, When you see him bring in his recruits and that should change.

reason we are regressing is teams are studying SM tendencies to look to his wideouts immediatley and stare them down, FSU DBs will jump routes next week watch I tell you then u guys will blame Coley lol.

Again, James Coley's entire resume is based on his recruiting prowess. He parlayed being the offensive coordinator at Norland high into a grad assistant job at LSU because he "delivered" Dwayne Bowe to Nick Saban and Jimbo Fisher. He was later hired at FIU to be the OC because Mario thought he could help recruiting but left after one season to join Jimbo Fisher at FSU, as....

wait for it.....

an offensive coordinator who does not call plays.

He then left for UM where is he now calling plays for only the second season at the college level. (Called plays at Norland but never at FSU).

That is not the resume of a guy who gets a $500K annual salary at a school like UM. Just my opinion.

Exactly. There were open receivers in the middle of the field, but Morris just does not have the awareness or patience to get them the **** ball. The offense would be much more efficient with Ryan Williams at QB.

So outside the hashmarks is now the middle of the field? Now I see why you don't understand. About the only routes Coley likes in the middle of the field are streaks and HB hitch.

WE DO NOT ATTACK THE MIDDLE OF THE FIELD!!

Look at all of Clive Walford's catches, they're all on TE drags to the outside. If we wont send the tight ends over the middle of the field, who the **** are we sending?

Completely false...see my post above

The problem is you named about 4 plays for the game. I've said in multiple posts, in the first half, we had 4-5 passing passing plays total where anyone was in the middle of the field between 5-10 yards. Everything else up the middle is usually something deep.
