Jake Garcia

Miamis twitter fan base is what made this dude a 1st round qb. My big bro who knows nothing about Miami thought this kid was good. I said why do you say that? Have you saw the film? He said every Miami fan on twitter says so. I’m like bruh don’t listen to them he’s cheeks

Agreed.

Someone made an epic "lowlight" video of him with Beck's "Loser" as the background song. The game was against Tennessee, pretty sure of it. Man, I've been trying to find that for a while. Free beer at Hard rock for anyone that can link that up.
NCST?

I was initially commenting to laugh at how trash he's been... then I remembered:

That's the game. Yes. NC State. Someone made a lowlight reel off that game. He played so ******* bad. Pretty sure it was taken down because his feelings got hurt.

I'll still get you a beer, but want to see those lowlights.
I saw it after the game. I am guessing the user removed it.

I’ve never seen a dude come in and look so good leading a game-winning TD drive one week…and then not be able to hit the broad side of a barn the next week.

You just named my worst Miami Hurricane starting QB

Kirby Freeman was the worst QB this program has seen…not even close.
What exactly went wrong with Freeman? Both he and Wright regressed through their careers it seemed - I’ve always wondered if some of it had to do that Coker was inadvertently turning Miami into a Paul Johnson team by failing to sign wide receivers in any meaningful numbers.

The mess which was the program did not help them, there’s no doubt with that. Wright had some red flags as far as maturity and prep went. The tenor of the locker room and program did nothing to help him. On the opposite note he did nothing to move things forward for the program. There was little to no mutual benefit between the two parties. Easy to say though he could and would have been much better if he didn’t have to be the guy. Nice kid, just isn’t part of his make up.

Freeman is completely different. He was the epitome of what in baseball we call a five o’clock hitter, aka a BP star who shuts down when the lights come on. He was athletic and showed some stuff during the week. Saturday came and it was all over the overwhelming majority of the time.

Two massive missed evals who were the wrong guys at the wrong time.
