Jake Garcia

There is audio out there somewhere of David Lake saying Miami has one of the best QB duos in TVD and back up Jeff Garcia in the country.

Im Laughing So Hard GIF
Jeff Garcia would have been good. Unfortunately we had Jake.

Anyone else remember #GarciaToTheU?

That’s when I knew he would be cheeks. If you have a tug boat driving, FSU party crashing head corch who relies on hashtags to recruit a QB - and it works - you know said QB gonna suck more than Riley Reid in an opening scene.
And you stop talking bad about Tug Boat drivers - that's not as easy as it looks. They don't deserve it.

For real. My grandfather drove tug boats way back. One night he was out on the town in Miami and he ran into a bunch of the guys on the UM football team. They started arm wrestling and he put all the players down, one after the other. #PopeyeForearms

I truly feel sorry for the kid. Ever since I saw that series about the Ga High School team that he transferred into during Covid, it was clear his entire life was managed by his dad to become a star QB. His parents legally divorced to keep him playing ball. That's insane, man. That's not normal pressure, that's some Black Swan ****. ... I just hope he finds happiness and his own identity outside of football. Because he's not playing on Sundays.

He only got to start one year because the coaches favored Clement. But look at which one hung around the nfl for a while.

But don’t get me wrong, I also loved Clement. Tough as nails.
He was the most intense quarterback that I ever saw on television outside of Marino.

Yep, hauling in those hawsers is like commercial fishing guys hauling in nets. Make for some pretty impressive arms.
