Jacob Coker graduating early, potential Miami QB?

I don't know why people have lost faith in Olsen, redshirt and true freshman start as qb across the country all the time, a lot of whom aren't as talented as or have had the coaching or nfl ties he has, btw, the nations leading passer is a true freshman

Bringing in one transfer in position of need like Dline is one thing, bringing in qb when you have serious competiton there already is another. I would hope that Cow or Williams will be serious competition for Olsen next year. We need to grow line of QBs again. Al is all about balance and depth has is doing masterful job building it from the mess he inherited. If this was two or three years ago, yeah the kid would get welcome wagon, now he is not needed. Kind of shocking that Bama would need him. If they do, then Saban has more issues than would be apparant.

Olsen is coach's kid. Al would not be afraid to start him; he will not be true freshman. If Williams is good enough to beat him out then Al will go with him. Everyone here is all about So FL talent, so let's not forget that Williams won Florida state title in HS here. I like our situation at QB now.

Can't you transfer anywhere you want after you graduate? If you can't, maybe he made deal with Jimbo to let him go anywhere he wants go, if he didn't transfer this year. He could of easily transferred this year but decided to stay.

Your right about transfering after graduation but is he graduating in 3 years? He is a red shirt sophomore this year.

Ponder graduated there after 3 years, it's FSU, not Harvard.

Agreed. Coley should have a nice scouting report on this guy, so if he wants to come here and can I have zero problem with it. Also, I watched some of his drives vs Nevada and came away pretty impressed.
 
Thanks for the warning, I am now fully scared of the 2014 season because we don't know who the QB will be.

People are dumb..He has great size & a nice arm. Go ahead & reserve his spot in Canton!
 
not a chance Williams starts and finishes the whole season.
if this transpires and this kid transfers and is the best qb and starts, i'm all for that.
 
So Coley is an OC at Miami and Coker is a backup at FSU and the rumor is Coker may graduate early so the obvious answer has to be Potato? Thanks for enlightening us all OP. I remember when I had my first beer. Make sure to strap that helmet on nice and tight before getting on the bus.
