The entire purpose of CIS is to talk about this kinda ****. Right now we are leading for a 5* CB recruit who will probably be the biggest recruiting win in like a decade for us, and yet there aren't any posts talking about this/him because y'all are deleting anything related. **** is getting ridiculous. And it's not even like the information is getting deleted cause everyone's still posting about what happened. You're just deleting the records of it happening.

Things have been deleted on CIS previously in the best interests of the program & board sources for years. We’re doing what’s in furtherance of that in this situation which is more important than your thirst to see Cribby flamed by the same 2 1/2 posters.

And I’m not sifting through hundreds of porsts for you either. If I go back on there, I’ll delete every fûcking one of them except the Miami Radio talk for you to enjoy @ben and the @TheOriginalCane reminiscing about Sonny Cox in the Morning on 96X and Kid ******* Curry on Y100.

You’ve seen what’s been said on this board by Cribby and others now stop whining and start your flamethrower.

Seems like there are four possible sources... someone at Miami (highly, highly unlikely given how Ivins has had no sources since Doherty left), Marshall or his camp (seems pretty unlikely given the fallout), someone from Bama/UF, or his HS coach. I guess they could have pieced it together from info posted here but given the back to back CBs, it seems like they had more certain knowledge. Frankly, the statement stays the same unless Marshall told Ivins and said he could go public with it.

Put another way, a heroin dealer can tell himself whatever he wants to justify his actions about addicts would get it elsewhere, providing a service, or whatever else. They are still a scourge on society.

Reminds me of these two Ukrainian sisters I used to mess with back in my mid to late 20's. Bleach blonde hair, tight figures, and big blue eyes. They were bat**** crazy and partied all the time.

There was noise in one of the threads that got nuked that it may have been his coach. If he was a Gator homer as a different thread suggest, it's not unreasonable to believe it went from him to Bama/UF to Wilfong.

I don't think so. Saban is about stacking chips and wants both. If he hears Marshall is committing to UM, he turns up the heat on Mkinstry so he doesn't have the embarrassment of being shut out. He also stirs the pot at Miami and tries to slow things down.

His coach can sit on a splintered broom from his quotes with Smith’s recruitment.

But in any case, if the tip came from the coach, forget about decent “journalist”, any decent grown adult would ask a kid if they were ok with posting it. Like most things in life, it’s never a good thing when the jackalopes start to believe their own bull**** about being important. I’ll tell you this, if in 17-18 years my daughter works her *** off to reach some goal and an adult ruins her moment for her, that person better go in hiding.

No, just say it. Was Ivins told Marshall was committing that day and asked to keep it quiet?

If so, that's scummy. It also almost certainly didn't happen because it makes zero sense for Ivins to burn his Miami sources.

I hate this, "it will all come out." Either you have a story to tell or you dont. The "a 247 journalist prevented Jason Marshall from being a Cane" is very weak though without more behind it. It's the biggest decision of his life, if a journalist predicting where he was going to go in advance literally changed his decision, Marshall is never going to be handle adversity anyways. I don't think that's true though, and it's bizarre to me you'd even suggest it.
