HAHAHAHAHAH. Agreed. But she was so confusing...she’d look really good in some scenes/movies and then you’re right, literally Mr. Ed at times. McEnany is kinda the same way imo. At times she is as you described and then other times I’m like wait, was I drunk as **** last night?

Idk why people would think he not putting in CBs to protect the kids moment especially if the staff ain't ******* with him.

This will be damned impossible to say what I want without being misunderstood. But, here goes...

1. I think Cribby is an amazing poster. He, LCE, and some others are a big reason I read this board. In other words, Cribby (and LCE) you're a hero.

2. Why are people in the know at UM, telling you stuff that is told in either direct confidence, or tacit confidence?

3. Because of their well-earned respect and gravitas, when Cribby (or LCE) say something to make us feel preemptively better, it puts the REAL better at risk. Sure, it makes Cribby (and LCE) even more beyond great, if it works out, but those advance assurances do NOT help us win recruiting battles.

4. Celebrating in advance is fun, but fools gold. It can actually help breed dissention. Instead, why don't the insiders shut up, and then, as ARCHER so eloquently pointed out, CELEBRATE WHILE SHOCKING THE WORLD.

Before closing, I've made my points--- but sure as **** don't want this to be taken out of context. Cribby, LCE are among the few who make this board worthwhile. And I'll repeat my long-standing appreciation for them

what still doesn't add up is the whole shock the world and take bama by surprise. if hes strong with his commitment, then he doesn't need to catch bama off guard. theyre going to recruit him till the very end if they really really want him. a public commitment wont stop that. i feel bad for the kid losing his moment, but whenever he announces, **** get his moment. doesnt mean bama will stop recruiting him though
