Al needs to put up or shut up on the 7th... All great coaches have shown "flashes" by beating a team they have no business beating- and UF hardly falls into the category of "a team we have no business beating". Show me something, Al. All the talk is fine, but back it up in your house against an Offensively challenged team.... A rival....a hated rival. This game is more important than the average fan realizes. So much rides on this game. Recruiting, momentum....perception. Al has got to win this game. PERIOD.

And by the way, I love Al. I love fine dining too, but If the chef keeps telling me he's great, yet he keeps serving me fckg hotdogs...at what point is this dude full of sh@t??? Show me is alls I'm sayin'.
 
And what if he doesn't beat UF? Is all hope lost? Should we fire him on the spot? What if we lose to UF, but beat FSU and run the table in our side of the ACC? Would FSU be a "signature win?"

Look dude. If we can't beat a weak UF team at home... With a senior QB.... A Sensational RB (both of whom are being haled as Heisman hopefuls)....the biggest, most experienced OL in the country....a solid group of Wrs, etc., then what in the **** makes you think we beat FSU later in the season? Just askin'. Tell you what- we get our asses handed to us by a one-dimensional squad.... You feel confident we "run the table"??? Shiiiiiiiiid, I don't. I'm just being real with the ****.

And of course you mention nothing about our Defense... the worst part on this team... plus a weak *** florida team??? didnt they go 11-2 last year. Stop putting so much pressure on the guy who is building a monster (2 rated recruiting class) and enjoy the ****** ride!!!!!

"Just asking"? Well, we have a weak-*** D that is still a work in progress. Who knows whether they'll be able to stop a solid UF running game early in the season. They may lose that game by a TD, but still grow enough over the next month and a half to beat an FSU team still breaking in a new QB.

Shiiid, stop talking about signature wins in Week 2 and watch how this **** plays out over the course of the season. Unless we have a major meltdown and end up losing 4 or more games, I ain't worried. We should be no worse than 9-3 and playing for an ACC crown. If we're worse than that, THEN hit the panic button all you want. But till then, you're just whining for the sake of whining.

Sorry, cousin. I can't. I can't just sit back and "enjoy the ride" because I've seen this movie before. If the script calls for direct foreshadowing, we all know the ditsy blonde is about to get it. Likewise, losing to UF is a foreshadowing of this programs troubling inability to compete with any team with a pulse. Sorry??? And just like the movies, I'm screaming at the ditsy blonde "hey! Don't go down there you stupid *****!!!"....and of course she does and is summarily murked. I'm just hoping for an alternate ending-just like the "what if we get beat by UF but beat FSU and run the table?" guy. But more often than naught, if the dumb blonde is stupidly calling out to a mysterious sound in the dark, she's getting murked. Please Al, don't go down there!!!!!!!
 
Aight, bro. You have fun pinning all your hopes on one game, like some 15-yr old who's never watched football before. I'll be here for the long haul.

I'd love a W against UF, and it would be a HUGE step for Golden and for the program. But if we lose in a close one to UF, I'm not going to lose sleep over it...we will have "competed" with a team with a pulse, unlike last year, when we got walloped by ND and KSU. Which would show continued improvement year over year.

I personally prefer the idea of a signature win over actually getting one. I mean, talking and dreaming about it is what makes it fun. You start getting big wins and you take away all the suspense.
 
I'll hold out for beating Clemson in the ACC championship game and than Alabama for the NC. Fvck uf and it's loser coach and qb.
