If Battle stays with OSU after this scandal ... it's really

I think it would speak more on the dudes character/judgement, or lack thereof, if anything.

But then again, this is clearly a troll/reaction grab post so I have no idea why I'm entertaining this **** haha

Cool, another Battle thread and started by a poster named “ swamp city”.

Seems legit.

Oh and he will 100 % not go to Osu when Urban is fired. Battle has said multiple times Urban calls him every day and recruits him extremely hard.

Denzel Ward was big?

I know it’s hard to believe, but there’s a difference between the 5’10 3/4 that Ward was at the OFFICIAL NFL COMBINE against the < 5’9 that Bandy is.

I couldn’t care less where Bandy gets drafted as long as he keeps doing what he is doing here. But his lack of height will hurt him, no denying that.

telling that top South Florida Kids don't believe we can mold them into top Pro Prospects.
No, some kids just simply want to explore and leave the area... that includes the families. I'm not sure why that is so hard to understand?

Ward is 5'11 per the combine. Bandy is LISTED at 5'9 on UM's website. The only DB I can think of that got drafted high at that size was Bob Sanders. He ran a 4.4 at the combine and weighed over 200lbs.
Hate to mention a Seminole but being a dolphin fan Terrell Buckley came to mind.

Urban is always tired, assume you meant fired?

This whole “developing” **** is retarded. It’s doubly retarded when you try to link the decision of a dopey 17 year old to it. These kids go where they get convinced to go or where they get paid to go.

Did Paul Williams “develop” Artie Burns, or was Artie a great athlete who worked hard and had excellent NFL potential? You guys put way too much stock in the alleged genius of some position coaches. If they get great players then they’ll suddenly morph into great “developers.”

Hartley hasn’t “developed” anyone, but he has zero problems getting anyone to sign up here.

Hartley developed Gator Hoskins and Eric frohnapfel at Marshall and David Njoko and Chris Herndon here.

All 4 made it to the league

uhhh, if Liar and staff are gone, who the **** do they have to hang their DB's to NFL hat on???? and even if Liar gets the boot, but staff is retained, thats only until they get the new HC... so kid would be signing up with coaches that mostly won't be there in a year or less...

Was not the scumbag who got fired his position coach? So urban gone and probably the guy recruiting him why would he stay.

Agreed. If he stays with OSU, something is SERIOUSLY wrong.
Do you really think a 18 year old kid cares about a former coach abusing his wife and the hc lying about his knowing? I really believe kids have different hot buttons and many top SoFl talent are sold on stardom and $$$, rather it's under the table or NFL. Some coaches are better at identifying kids hot buttons. It's not always visiting campus and playing with homeboys.

True, but the numbers we are seeing in regards to this should raise the intelligent persons eybrow a bit. Now couple this with a signifcant body of evidence showing that a decent portion of these "explorers" don't live up to expectations or bust spectacularly, you would think you would see this trend down at times.

That said any sane adult would think twice going anywhere near that scumbag who was a known pos long before this scandal came out, but yet he has recruited at a high level for most of his career. The problem is that children are being allowed to make, and are being influenced to make decisions above their capability for whatever reason. I used to be confounded by some of the decisions on picking schools in the past, but watching LCU (Yes, I know it's heavily edited) and seeing their struggles with getting out of JUCO has opened my eyes to why some of these kids make the decisions they do.

Ya an hes gotten a whole lot of playing time blocking lmao an 2 freshman are coming in to take his job 4th TE on Depth Chart tf u talking about? Dude cant catch for ****. Dude aint playing and is not a UM quality TE!
Kinda can’t play when you’re redshirted and #3 on the depth chart to a blocking TE and an NFL TE.

Also, you don’t know if Will automatically beat him either. You’re guessing in the wind especially with the way Irvin JR acts.

No. He means tired. When Urban gets tired, he does weird things....hits on female athletic Dept. staff, has heart attacks, forgets his assistants beat their wives...all perfectly understandable and explainable.

Don't we all?

You never know...some guys stay with the program all four years and carve out a role on the team, even if it's just special teams. We've had a lot of contributors over the years who only played special teams.

Not guessing Irvin jr an Brevin will be in line an Mallory will split out like they did in 16' you just said he didnt play as #3 TE no way he plays as #4 TE dude sucks that first practice clip they showed he couldn't catch for **** with no defence lol

Coach Macho made a good point in that other thread . He may have exaggerated a lil but the point was still valid . Our coaches don’t really have anyone to point to and say we developed this guy here to a high draft pick. Yet . Very soon they’ll be able to produce receipts

If coRch MaRcho said that it would be at the top of all the dumb shxt he’s ever said on here before.

Were those other coaches NCAA AA's or did those coaches start in the league for a number of years and ball? Rumph did both and he developed a few 5*'s. Miss me with all that other **** Macho and whoever else talking about. This **** has to do with bags and its that simple...

I would say 1% of total recruits at the major FBS level take into consideration development. People like to take that one time a kid says "I think this coach/team will develop me" as a gospel for most other players when that is rarely the case.

Location is the #1 thing a recruit looks at...after that, its a business decision.
