This.
I know I read an article earlier about Loria talking with our AD Blake James about sharing the new Marlins Stadium.
As much as I ******* loathe the Marlins and the corrupt city of Miami, I am leaning more heavily to just moving back to Little Havana and setting up shop there. Like Jedi said, why are we even in a long-term lease with Joe Robbie/Landshark/ProPlayer/SonLifeless? It's an enormous piece of **** stadium with no fan experience. For the past few years we've been hearing talk about Ross making major renovations to the stadium. But it's just that.....talk. Unless there is some serious infrastructure done to move the seats closer to the stadium or add a retractable roof to set-up some shade and enhance noise within the stadium, it's all for naught. It's a dated stadium. It sucks. There is a reason why the Super Bowl is going to played there anytime soon.
I really don't see any negatives about going into Marlins Park. Yeah it would suck to be "supporting" that asshat of a franchise, but what other options do we have? Share a ****** stadium with FIU or FAU? I would rather play all away games. Honestly, I am really ok with only having a total capacity of 40-50K seats. Even in our hey-day, we never reached full capcity for major games, execept for FSU and Florida games. I remember vividly in 2002 I had several VT game tickets at the OB. This was outr last game to clinch our birth into the Fiasco Bowl. I couldn't even get face for them ($40). I wound up unloading them to God **** VaTech fans for about $20 a piece. Our fans are who they are. Let us just move into Marlins Park and only the true fans who order season tickets will get first dibs on seats. I would rather have the true 40K game in and game out every day, then play in a half-empty stadium. Plus, I want to LIMIT opposing fans in our stadium. It would be even MORE ideal for a game like FSU. It will be a true sell-out. FSU will only get their allotment of tickets and that would be it. The rest of the seats will be to hihg Hurricane Club donors and true fans. The bandwaggoners and ******s from Hialeeah can go eat a ****.

It is the stadium. It's a **** abomination and words can't even express how much I hate that piece of garbage.
I love the Canes with all my ******* heart...which is the ONLY reason I go to all the home games. But the simple fact is the experience now vs the experience in the Orange Bowl is light years difference.
We need to get the **** out of there. Period. It's one of the worst gameday experiences/atmosphere in the country. The seats are too ******* far from the field and even at it's loudest (see Florida game) it still isn't "loud" compared to other stadiums or the Orange Bowl.
I know in about 2.5 seconds some sap will come along and remind us we have a 400 year lease with the stadium...but that doesn't mean we shouldn't keep hoping and praying some type of development happens regarding this issue.
Pray for the Marlins to continue to fail miserably and eventually leave. That would pretty much force the city into a corner. I pray for this scenario EVERY day.
