I feel bad for Al and the players

What if someone doesn't like going to the games but still watches them weekly? Not a real fan?

you are expecting the same people who leave early during elimination game of the NBA finals to show up to a college football game at noon?

Its never going to happen no matter how good we are.

It will happen if we ever get a small on campus stadium.

Fans here do not know how to get to their seats on time or at all. Anytime you go to one of the concessions or concourses there are people milling around at all times. I know of people who never go to their seats and hang out at the bar areas in the concession areas. Also, fans here have no concept of time. You cant start breaking down your tailgate 10 min before kickoff and expect to be in your seat in time for kickoff

Why come into the game when u can stay in the parking lot and hit lines of yay off the center console of your Honda Civic like the diehard U fans we parked next to?

Where were they parked, specifically? Just curious. Will they be at the VT game?

Yep. In the club levals, thousands are hanging out in the indoor lounges the entire game.

You have a point. There was anywhere else to be in the OB. Small parking lot; terrifying hood, even scarier bathrooms. The stands, even under the blistering sun was the best and safest place. I never thought about that way. ****, I never left my seat in the OB. Shut down all the concessions and lock the bathrooms so people will seat down. I'm serious. One more thing--booze allowed ONLY at your seat(not in the parking lot) and you can bring your own bottle. Other than that, are there any NCAA rules against hire fans to seat at games. We sure as **** can't give money to recruits, and when we do we suck at it, so let's pay for attendance. Ok, that I am kidding about.

Surprised no one has brought up our student section. Has to easily be one of the worst, if not the worst student section to a major program. Students come in by the 2nd quarter and usually leave around halftime. It's not going to change and will only get worse as the university focuses on increasing academics and accepting more international students. We also have 10k undergrads compared to most schools rocking 30+. Still, compare our homefield advantage to anyone else in the top 10 and it isn't even close.

Tv didn't do it justice at the middle of the 4th qtr...the crowd was pretty good. it was definitely morethan half full id say 45-50k

LSU only had 76,000 actual fans for their game against Florida but announced 93,000. **** happens. I'm done worrying about attendance.

Wow, Miami has attendance issues? This is the first I've heard of this, can someone please enlighten me.

I also don't feel bad for kids getting a free education and adults making a minimum six figure income for doing something they love, cry me a river.

If it was an appropriately sized stadium based on the university size, say 55k, it would look just fine.

Very disappointing turnout for sure.

These kids deserve more than this. Even the high schools that these kids come from, folks from there should come support them. The communities they come from. You mean to tell me nukas can afford the new J's but can't buy a $35 ticket to a Canes game?

There is a lot to blame attendance on, but none are really justified. If this were the last two years, I'd understand. But these kids are ranked #7 in the nation, are undefeated, and have prevailed through the NCAA BS. I'd be pretty ****ed if I were a player, coach, or other staff yesterday looking into the stands.

I live in Charleston, SC, and we try to go to a game or two every year with 5 hours of the house. If I lived within five hours of Sun Life I'd be at every mouthaf'n game I could get to. Cats down in that area are a disgrace to the Canes man. ****es me off.

No more excuses. This team may only lose 1 or 2 games this year, they're balling with every ounce of their being. They need support. This team DOES NOT SUCK ANYMORE! These kids are mostly local as well. They need support. Can't say it enough.

State of Miami fans should be ashamed of themselves. Straight up. Real talk. If you are at every home game, this doesn't apply to you, but if you aren't, it's aimed directly at your head.

Go Canes. I love y'all. Keep grinding, I'll see you in Durham in a few weeks.

This. Inter-Nashun-all students are worthless when it comes to going to football games.

Almost all you internet posters were not even there... Shut up and show up.

We did...it was a good game. I would have preferred a blow out, but I take the win.

Probably 55 k +

Espn is reporting 66k.
