The more I think about the HC we’ve all talked about, even though he hasn’t been a DC before, he’s one of the best pure “Head Coaches” in college football before his issue. Might be good to have with Mario and re-evaluate some of the offseason, off field, and general management type stuff.
Everyone I heard is a former HC. He was the most successful. Winning 10 games and competing for conference titles at that program is impressive.

Has he finally come to his senses or does he still want to drag it out?

Watch him against good offensive coaches. Also he has a riff with assistants this year and is doubling down on what’s not working. Oh and he’s a lazy recruiter.
100% agree with all of that this year. The doubling down with what’s not working is so unbelievable and stupid

Watching yesterday live it seemed like our defense was watching Iowa state for the first time all year. Nothing in how they reacted for pre snap shifts or motions made it look like they watched a minute of film. They shifted 2 tight ends over and would run strong side. Then they would shift them over, motion the wr and run counter a few times with him. Then they would run the same set and motion would pull the front 7 and they would run hb dive behind it. Our DBs were playing 6 to 8 yards off the ball. I dont know. It didn't seem overly complicated what they were doing but yet here we go again. We got cooked for 42. To me its a coaching problem and lack of evaluation when our guys are lost before the balls snapped, making the same bad reads, stunting out of our run fits, losing proper leverage in coverage.

At this point I haven’t a clue who he can replace Guidry with. Someone off a good defensive staff? Like Elko or Kirby idk

When opposing OC's are 100 times smarter than your DC these things happen.... Guidry is incapable of keeping pace with opposing OC's during the flow of a game.... He's been absolutely figured out....

You'd get more production out of an empty coffee cup than Guidry at this point.... The man is cooked harder than a deep fried turkey.....
