Yep.Same here.The program is bigger than his friendship to Coach D. They should be smart enough to know it's best to part ways. This 2 gap experiment ain't working If they don't,and this horrendous defense continues next season,it will get very, very ugly for the administration.
 
I was pretty confident about Dorito not being here next season, but having people close to Golden tell Joe Rose Dorito is not going anywhere tells me Dorito will be here next season. Not only that, but the gist is, even the AD can't do anything about it. Great program we got going on down there. Bunch of clowns that run things there.

Makes no f'ing sense, right? NoD has got to have some photos of Golden smashing some students or some other ****.

I'm still holding out hope he makes a change by seasons end... fortunately I can't fathom losing NoD and/or Franklin would hurt us ONE IOTA in recruiting.

Al's big on keeping the guy's from not tanking; plain and simple. He's not going to blow a guy up with superlatives and curse words... He bleeds high characterism and keeping a guys chin up, so long as they do everything asked of them off the field; almost to a fault.

Keeping guys like Chickilo, Green, AJ Highsmith in the starting rotation is a big error. Not chiming in to tell Dorito to send some pressure is also an Error. Dang it, keeping R. Kirby on the bench, who has more football instincts than Tyrone Cornelius and Notso-Thirsty Armbrister put together is another Error!!! McDermott starting over Wheeler; ERROR!!!!

All these dang Error's, but we're high character guys for sure! SMH Coach!

I heard the interview. To be fair, unlike Shannon, Golden is taking full responsibility for this crap. He didn't pass the buck. Also, there is only so much honesty you're going to get from a head coach on a radio interview. It would actually be really, really stupid for him to divulge his earnest assessment of his players, assistants, and his own job on the radio for the public.

As for Golden being smart, I agree that we don't know that. I think the bar here here has been set low because Shannon was functionally retarded, so when people hear Golden speak with a modicum of eloquence, they're captivated and think we've got Einstein as a corch.
 
Unfortunately, this team's problems will not be solved with firing coach D. The fact that this team has quit on the coaches is a reflection on Golden and his inability to lead this team. I was hoping he was the right guy after the two previous disasterous regimes, but after the last two weeks it is plain to see that he is as incompetent as Coker and Shannon.
 
I don't think Golden feels job pressure at all. What he's feeling is the dream slipping away. They wen't from knocking on the top 5, to out of the top 25 in 2 weeks. His biggest challenge is to understand why kids aren't reacting. Early in the season we were playing at a much higher level on defense. We were never very talented, but kids played physically and made tackles and turnovers. The last two weeks, tackling has been abysmal, the DL has been getting abused, and zero turnovers. Anyone who played football knows there are two possible causes, either the team is beat up mentally or physically, maybe both. It's the coaching staffs job to not let this happen. We have a lot of pride and heart on our D, so I'm putting this on the coaches.
 
Blake james will do something about dorito or golden at the end of the season, he knows what is best for the program, i have to say my support for golden slowly starting to slip away, i know he says all the right things in interviews, but that last part about firing dorito is a little concerning, blake might have to force goldens hand either ****head goes or you both go
