Golden still in play at PSU!

Things have calmed down on his end and he's actually gone underground in the last couple of days. Golden is a snake
 
I now am of the opinion that Golden is a massive piece of shart. Here were are, a month from signing day, and the dude is keeping our program in limbo while he waits to see if the dudes Penn St. favored over him turn down the job.

Golden slithering around in that tall grass.

Surprising for a man with 8 pillars of core values and integrity.
 
Again, not including wanting him to be here or not... All respect I had for golden is gone if he leaves at this point. It would be pretty embarrassing for our program if that happens.

Also would suck if he did that and once again kept UM waiting on his move... It would only delay our coaching search (already would have cost us a chance at petrino) and would give our future coach less time to salvage the class. This situation sucks considering, as Franchise said, it's the 11th hour of this recruiting season.

I am not going to defend his weekend of silence but Al Golden has released a statement he is staying. Had press conference wherein he said he was staying. So I am not sure what people want him to do to stop rumors that he still might be going to Penn State.

The fact that rumors exist that he still might be PSU head coach is only Al Goden's fault if he really is still trying to be the head coach of Penn State. I mean Nick Saban announce he was staying signed and extension and there were still rumors he was going Texas. Same with Art Briles and Jimbo Fischer. Do you guys blame those coaches for the Texas rumors?

I would hope he has enough respect for himself to not crawl back to penn state if they miss on their top targets. If he turned them down we would have known that was what happened

Maybe we misunderstood his point the entire time...he is right. The numbers are trending UPWARD

who says he is keeping our program in limbo. he just welcomed 8 new guys to the team. do you think if golden was going to leave he would let those guys enroll early? i know coaches lie but come on....

If he leaves, he leaves... I wouldn't blame him. But for the sake of the recruits, the program; I hope he remains.

Nobody knows for certain how it happened or what is happening with the PSU coach search now so they're making assumptions. It's amazing how they have turned their own opinions and analysis into facts to whip up a Golden-hating frenzy. How about believing in the coach for once and then letting your anger flow when he actually does go to PSU? It's like you just can't wait to tear into him and gripe about him all day long. It's kind of sad that this is how we are treating a coach who stuck with the team through the ncaa crapupathon and has us in the 10 in the recruiting rankings again.

James Franklin, Al Golden, Mike Munchak are all in play to get Penn State job. Franklin and Munchak are talking with NFL teams as well
