OK, the mods locked my inbox, so I'll post it here...

Gag order for entire staff and self-imposed dead period for UM football per the BOT.

Looks like they are preparing a tampering suit against PSU.

That, or they don't want leaks of Golden's interactions with PSU and potential departure.

threaten lawsuit against PSU...you know all that will accomplish is bring the school a bigger buyout. making penn state pay more for a guy they want isn't going to keep them from hiring him if they want him.

Hence the tampering suit. Donna is furious with the PSU chancellor. They are hoping the courts will act with prudence and get everything settled in the next 6-8 weeks.

Mike Bakas saying that he's also hearing that Golden is still a candidate, the job hasn't been offered to anyone, and if the job was offered to AG, he'd take it. Not sure if this makes the rumors more or less legit, but just another "source" saying it's not done yet.

Donna's playing hardball on this one. Apparently, she is willing to play it all out even if NSD comes and goes with or without a HC.

So we are fighting to keep him WC or is there some hope that one way or another we are getting a new HFC?
