Golden Slurpers vs Golden Haters

I disagree with some of that, but it's a pretty fair argument on the whole. Can't believe I liked a post also liked by the Ozar troll, but hey, a good post is a good post.

One thing I would point out is that Golden does not seem to be slowing down in the recruiting side of things, whereas Randy hung his nuts on the 2008 class, then just quit. Golden is a great 'face' for the program, whereas Randy was...well, Randy. I think AG has us going in the right direction in a lot of areas. Time will tell if he can get the defense fixed and build some momentum going forward. Beating Loserville would certainly help.

Golden is a JAG. Plain and simple. Give his ponk *** next year, and if we are on the same "trajectory", ax his fck ***. Ain't Bobby Petrino still floating around out there????

I completely agree with you on the fact Randy flopped hard in recruiting after the 2008 class where Golden seems to be a master recruiter. I just don't want to see all the talent go to waste. Personal opinion, Golden has 2 years left in my eyes to prove something. 1 year to prove his defense will improve and 1 year where he will be on a very hot seat if the defense does not improve next year.

Exactly. I like most, are just questioning what we have seen thus far. We have to have a standard before we can adhere to one. If we let AG off the hook for the same lack of progress of the previous regime, what's the point?
