Let's see Williams should have started over Morris last year and now Olsen should start ahead of Williams. If Olsen does start in 2014 then Kaaya should start in 2015 and who ever we recruit in 2015 should start in 2016. That is the logic some in this thread are espousing.

It's so obvious Golden has a thing for starting older players that he's loyal to. His big fat *** was leaving Miami until PSU decided not to hire him. He can't recruit, can't coach, and has never beaten any real teams over 500. His loyalty is with Coach D and not this U. His wins going up mean nothing because the schedule has gotten so much easier. Ice should be hired as HC at Miami. Did I mention the scheme sucks?

In the games I watched McCord and AQM played together, especially on passing downs.

Of course they played together! The mully grubbers don't actually watch games so they just spew garbage from their ****suckers. Who's on the other side of McCord when he levels that GaTech QB? Oh that's right, AQM.

This is part of the problem - they were purely situational players (obvious 3rd down passing). The big change this year is for these 2 to become more multiple down players rather than one trick pony pass rusher types.

mccord and muhammed should be on the field at the same time i just dont get it
How would you stop the run if both of them on the field at the same time?

FSU consisntly fields 230-250 pound DEs, year after year after year.

And we were running right up their *** until Duke broke his ankle.

Not exactly. We struggled in short yardage situations like we always do.

Duke had 97 yards on 23 carries with a long run of 23 yards. He was hardly unstoppable.

FSU has elite DT's which make a huge difference. Last year FSU had Mario Williams as one of their DE's he is 280 lbs. The other ends were like 290 or 300lbs.

No excuse for anyone who lives within 20-30 miles of the stadium to not make it out to the Spring Game next saturday.

1) It's at 6pm, so it isn't as hot.

2) There will be plenty things to keep your children occupied.

3) They are unveiling the new uniforms.

4) You get to see your team in action for the last time until August.

Going to California on vacation next week. I guess I'm a ****** fan

no olsen is better than williams and has been playing better than williams in the spring, thats why everyone is saying olsen over williams, and if kaaya comes in and plays better than everyone else he should start, we want the best QB out there and right now its olsen

This is exactly the problem. We know they played together on pass downs. Teams did a lot of throwing on early downs, and SG and Chick always seemed to be 1 step from making a sack, forced fumble or just making the pass incomplete. There were a lot of big plays on us because of this specifically. AQM and McCord are two steps faster than both those guys. Love SG and Chick but it is what it is.

Very interesting that Golden constantly brings up Moten, Thomas, and Djaxx as if they are going to be instant impact players

Two of them, Moten and Thomas, better have instant impact or it is going to be a miserable long season, and not because we are playing late in the post season. Djaxx can RS but Moten and Chad have to crush it early. Plus whoever plays NT when we are in 3 - 4. Cant wait until next year anymore.

You said it, until Miami gets some DTs in here it wont matter who we have at DE. Which is why I don't understand why people expect this defense to be better.

You has some points until you declared Ice as HC. That clouds any merit you might have. I happen to like Williams' prospects. Less over the top and more control intermediate range passes with a heavy does of TE action. BUT, since Al didn't think he could sub Williams for Morris before or after the Criminoles game with Morris in obvious distress, then I have to wonder why he is so high on him now. Is Olsen that bad? I see it like this, if Olsen isn't good enough to beat out the guy who wasn't good enough to beat out a crippled QB who was obviously lost, then we just need to throw Kaaya into the fight first thing and pray for the best. Either that or Golden truly has no idea what the heck he is doing. It is impossible to accept that Al was right last year in keeping Williams on the sideline and also this year naming him leader. The two sides of that equation just do not balance.

I hope everyone who thinks Al just plays the senior is right. If not, than Williams does stink and Olsen is chump change. This leave us with hoping our HC is a idiot so that maybe one of our QBs is good. We can win with great players, good QB and idiot coach. We have already proven that.
