Golden: Morris looks better than ever

Again Connor Shaw is now a world beater yet he loses to Tennessee..... yeah crown him. lol

B/c all yall do is praise other QBs when all u see is their highlights while u nit pick Stephen Morris like you wouldnt find more flaws if you dissected every play these other QBs make.

yeah but i'm suppose to agree w/ yall tho? gtfoh

Dude, wtf are you talking about. You have made series of posts that are beyond moronic. Did you actually watch South Carolina vs. Missouri? Because if you did there is absolutely no way you were not impressed with Shaw's performance. Kid was dragging his leg around the field and making ridiculous throws. Say what you want about Morris etc, but dismissing what that kid did last Saturday is just stupid. Kid pulled a game out of his *** in the 4th quarter down by 17 with one leg.

ur post is "beyond moronic"

Connor Shaw aint do **** on one leg, he was running around just fine, an Ankle injury is far worse then some bs bone bruise in ur leg whatever the *** Connor Shaw was dealing w/.... he did have a good game i'm not undermining that.

So what though yall trynna suck his **** about it like Stephen Morris has never won a game for Miami before.

Connor Shaw is on a team that lost 2 games and couldve lost to UCF.... **** what u r talking about.

Miami is undefeated right now, Stephen Morris has won more games for Miami then Connor Shaw ever has for South Carolina.

Jesus christ you are a ******* idiot....

btw, Connor Shaw 23 wins as a starter....Stephen Morris 16....but keep going with your stupid uninformed rants.

You are stupid i'm talking about a game being won on the QBs back not how many total wins a team has had you idiot.

Connor Shaw has never won a game for South Carolina in crunch time until the Mizzou game.... how about you think before u post u dumb ****.

Keep digging dumbass...if I debunk that are you coming back with "I mean most wins wearing Orange?"

it's not my fault you are too dumb to comprehend anything.... who the **** is talking about total wins?

You think i was implying that the Mizzou game was the only game South Carolina has ever won w/ Connor Shaw @ QB???? only a dumb *** like you would think that was the topic of discussion.

My gripe about the handling of the Stephen Morris situation is this: if the ankle is truly the primary cause of his poor mechanics and erratic play, then why not sit him against UNC or Wake? Personally, I believe it's more than just the ankle. But if its truly causing him to play so poorly, then Golden probably mishandled this situation

Not if they know that Williams would get eaten alive under real fire...

Good idea!

I love Golden (not sure if homo or not) but I don't take anything he says at face value. That said, Morris has the ability, he just needs to do it on the field.

Actually I take much of what Golden says at face value. He rarely sugar coats things & he's been pretty dead on in his assessment of his personnel over the years.

Some stuff yes, some stuff no. For example, I haven't believed his talk about Morris' ankle for a second. Accroding to Golden, Morris' ankle was 100% the week after Savannah State. It's still not 100% in my opinion.

Well perhaps Morris noted what the entire college football world has noticed - he stopped stepping up into the pocket and maybe he should do that, take a sack once in a while instead of throwing off balance in the general vicinity of a receiver - maybe even throw it out of bounds. He just seems to have lost his courage - and being beat up on a few times has really taken it's toll. If he starts the game the way he's been playing I say throw Ryan in for a few downs, see what happens.

If morris plays and sucks its on him. No excuses. Half the starters have ankle issues every week. Its football. Manziel was way more hurt than morris and he lit it up last week. I am starting to wonder if morris has michael jackson's threshhold of pain. Donovan mcnabb played well on a broken ankle. If morris's ankle was truly hurt, he would be staying in the pocket and not running out of clean pockets. Face it he just needs to play better

Drivel? Who said anything about rain, showers, or any other sort of precipitation?

Now Manziel was "way more hurt" then Morris...... LOL this fan base is HILARIOUS

Your failure to admit that Morris has struggled, to say the least, really kills your argument.
Bottom line Morris has an opportunity to shut up all the naysayers, a fourth "suspect" performance and we're looking at 7-1. I agree with the earlier post, he's got to know what he's doing wrong, if it doesn't change then it's likely that he can't change.

17/28 against WF w/ 0 interceptions is definitely not a "suspect" performance.

The GT game 17/22 324 yards 3 TDs isnt a suspect performance at all lol wtf r you talking about??

The only bad game he's had this season was the UNC game.... the GT game he threw 2 interceptions but so what he bounced back and threw 3 TDs how is that suspect?

oh and we're talking about 1 bad game w/ an injury that he's been dealing w/ since the Sav.St. game........ its called MOXIE.

Alright man, we both want the same thing and that's for Morris to play well and Miami to win.
I'm going to channel my anger at fsu.

Go 'Canes!

Golden expects Morris to "close chapter" on ankle injury, "play kind of game he wants to play" Saturday #UM

Al Golden also said in his presser that S. Morris confidence is back b/c that ankle issue isnt messing w/ his head anymore since it's gotten better..... fwiw he also said that he's not trying to make excuses b/c the UNC game had more to do w/ his decision making, and that he was dealing w/ the same issues in the Wake game but his decision making was a lot better.

Now he doesnt have to mask his frustration over his ankle and just play football.... exactly.

Be funny as f*ck if he said all this sh*t all week, then BAM, we start Williams on Saturday, Noles are totally clueless with no scouting or prep for Williams, and we stab them in the heart right in their house.

Yeah yeah, I know.

are you guys ****ting me? we dont have a chance with williams. only way we win, is if our qb plays like a 1st or 2nd round pick and Williams doesnt have that talent. We live or die with Morris
