Golden: Morris looks better than ever

Coley said the reason they haven't been using the intermediate passes more is because he couldn't plant or push off and he was throwing deep just off arm strength.

My gripe about the handling of the Stephen Morris situation is this: if the ankle is truly the primary cause of his poor mechanics and erratic play, then why not sit him against UNC or Wake? Personally, I believe it's more than just the ankle. But if its truly causing him to play so poorly, then Golden probably mishandled this situation

I agree with the Conner Shaw example. I watched that entire Mizzou vs So Carolina game and the Gamecocks were DEAD IN THE WATER. No momentum and no life. That boy Shaw comes in there banged up and all and leads those boys to victory. After seeing that, I dont give a **** what is wrong with SM, he needs to get it done!

If you look at the games you see morris in the shotgun and pistol a lot. in 3rd and short he is in the pistol because that ankle makes it hard to get back and hand the ball off or drop back and throw.
 
We're 7-0 for the first time in a decade! I don't care if Morris throws the ball w/ his diick as long as we keep winning!
 
Was Connor Shaw's ankle busted up..... NO. Was Connor Shaw that injured, obviously NO i didnt see him take off a cast on his arm or remove a boot from his leg.

Stephen Morris has lead UM to victory on more then 1 occasion, unlike Connor Shaw.

A fully healthy Florida team for one..... Mizzou beat Florida w/o 3 of their starting D-lineman out (R. Powell, D. Easily, and D. Jacos) and one of their starting DBs kicked out the game. I wonder where Miami would be w/o our 3 top D-lineman not playing in a game???? hmmmm

and games arent won on paper I could make a case that a beat up UGA team would lose to UNC. They have no defense so UNC would score.

Mizzou is a fraud they have done nothing to this point except lose to a South Carolina team that almost lost to UCF and lost to Tennessee.

We are undefeated and so is our senior QB. This game is why every senior on this team came to THE U. This is their moment to reward themselves for all they have been through. I suspect this game means more to each of them than to all of us and every Nole. Al wants this game for the kids that stood by THE U. This is a serious man on a mission. Maybe the Noles beat us Saturday, but I am certain we will be proud of what we see. Morris has dragged his limping *** out there EVERY week, not just the second half of one game, and played hurt. My knees are bone on bone and hurt like crazy all the time. But that is nothing compared to when one of my ankles acts up. That takes me to my back. QB's feet are very important. Has Morris played well? No. But my God, to question his courage and determination is to act like a little girl.

The Noles are not taking this game serious but it will be a war before it is over. Al will make sure it is. One thing Morris has shown, he has not quit in him. If you have ever been under fire, you know that the absolute last thing you want next to you is a friggin quitter. SM will come back form Tally carrying his shield or on it, like the Spartan he is. Plus that Viking in the backfiled with him promised his mom he would beat the Noles this year.

Dude, wtf are you talking about. You have made series of posts that are beyond moronic. Did you actually watch South Carolina vs. Missouri? Because if you did there is absolutely no way you were not impressed with Shaw's performance. Kid was dragging his leg around the field and making ridiculous throws. Say what you want about Morris etc, but dismissing what that kid did last Saturday is just stupid. Kid pulled a game out of his *** in the 4th quarter down by 17 with one leg.
