Golden: Morris looks better than ever

He looked better in the Wake Forest game then he did in the last couple of games and he's getting healthier now.

No matter how many players and coaches come out and say he's been battling an ankle injury it doesnt matter w/ yall..... b/c "proper footwork and mechanincs" lol have nothing to do w/ ur ankles.

Give it a rest

Yeah i find it quite amazing that people act as if dude ankle hasnt been part of the reason he's been throwing the ball so erratically. It has, he was miles better against WF but i still saw a slight limp when the offense was coming off the field. He was pretty much hobbling against UNC and GT. Lets hope its fully ready for FSU. Im sure he will be better if his ankle get better. Dude gets such a hard time here. Lots of his ints has been poor mechanics as opposed to poor decisions, even tho some certainly were poor decisions.

Not asking for greatness just move the ball, use your legs, don't turn it over.

I know Morris can do it.

The part that stuck out to me was saying his personality is coming back.

That tells me Morris's confidence might've been shaken in that UNC game, and it showed against Wake.

He played tight and uncomfortable the entire game.

That was pretty evident.

A Senior QB should not have confidence issues, I'm tired of talking about and reading about him. Put the team on your back and play like a GD experienced Senior not some shook up Sophomore!
You are seriously due for a big game vs a team with a pulse!

//rant over...

This has that used car salesman feeling to me... It's ok Golden I'm not buying your 84 Mitsubishi.... The car fax on this dude shows stalling, choking, and inability to start and finish beer extreme conditions..

I love Golden (not sure if homo or not) but I don't take anything he says at face value. That said, Morris has the ability, he just needs to do it on the field.

Actually I take much of what Golden says at face value. He rarely sugar coats things & he's been pretty dead on in his assessment of his personnel over the years.

Some stuff yes, some stuff no. For example, I haven't believed his talk about Morris' ankle for a second. Accroding to Golden, Morris' ankle was 100% the week after Savannah State. It's still not 100% in my opinion.

golden pretty much came out and flat out admitted morris lied to him about his ankle.

You know what **** you and your excuse makin' ***.
I'm sick of him, plenty of people get hurt and play through it, I want him to show some moxie and do his thing.
I'm not "eluding" to anything, man up, be a leader, and lead the team. Stop looking forward to watching the other teams QB and all this other nonsense.

You sound like a *****..... Stphen Morris has been a leader and shown moxie u ******, wtf r u talking about? He's still playing on a bum ankle he's not on the sidelines crying about it ******.... He went out and made plays against GT on a bum ankle, struggled against UNC and still showed the "moxie" to finish the last drive and get it done.

And still w/ a limp against WF, he showed "moxie" by focusing on not turning the ball over, blocking out his ankle issues, and still playing a solid much improved game over UNC *****.

All his teammates and coaches still see him as a leader

You dont even know what moxie is thats how ****n stupid u are.

Pretty sure Conner Shaw was more hurt than Morris last Saturday, and Morris hasnt played anywhere near that level

Thanks for the like dumbass, point is I watched Connor Shaw at SC drag his cripple body of the bench last week and lead his team to a win over a **** good Mizzou.
LOL, you trying to attribute the GT, UNC and Wake wins to Morris and his leadership, the running game won those games not Morris. It was brutally evident to me and everyone there that the staff had no confidence in Morris on the last drive vs. either UNC or Wake.

I don't dislike Morris, I was a huge cheerleader for him when a good many on this board questioned him prior to the season, I just expect more at this point.
