I'm not worried about the running game @ all this year.

Nothing from Dorsett, the TE's or Scott. Guys that have been talked up and no mention during the scrimmage.

On the surface it sounds a lot like last year, and trouble stopping the run remains an issue.....

Dorsett had 3 for 27 and a TD, Dye had 2 TD's, and I wanna say Scott caught 3 balls as well.

Naw I'm straight, It's quality and reality.....

- Lamar Miller went down to easy most of the time and he was 215lbs.

- Mike James, Eduardo, and Duke are better running backs this year than Lamar Miller was last year.

I also think lamar was overrated last year, now idk about all 3 being better than him but i think altogether a better running game for sure.

DEs are more then just pass rushers, need to stop the run as well. Our 3 smallest DEs on one side doesn't make sense to me.

look at it this way.
You think James or Clements can be as good or better than Giovanni Bernard from UNC?
I think so.
Bernard doesn't have Miller's break away speed and raw physical skills yet he put around the same stats and was voted 1st Team ALL ACC over Miller.
Throw in wild card Duke and this could be a real special unit.

Lamar Miller was a very good running back..... but great?? NO.

- He never maximized his potential @ Miami. The coaches were always saying things like he needs to develop a stiff arm... so he can shed tackles easier w/o taking so much punishment on his shoulders.

- He also would fall if the wind blew the opposite direction, and he wasn't that consistent running the ball as you'd expect from someone w/ his athletic ability.

- He was still a very good running back but IMO Jarrett Payton was better his last year.

You guys seem to forget that Lamar was a totally different rb after he reaggravated that shoulder...smh at you guys
