For those bashing our defensive staff for not closing...

You don't need bags to recruit against us. Is that not obvious to some of you yet?

What would be your sell to all of these guys we missed out on?

My guess, you're probably the same people who bought into that Fear the The b.s. and rocked those *** *** shirts.

You also probably got caught up in that make the crib great stuff Nesta started last year, but already want to retire today. No fault of his, you still can't say that and follow it up with 7-6.

Give it time or move on down the road. Go cheer for someone else as there's not a single thing about this program some of you seem happy with. I'm not happy with where it is, but *****ing about every single thing doesn't do a **** thing.

on top of that, did they think a coaching a change during the dead period was going to change the results of today? these kids made their choices while richt was freaking coaching this team. Manny got rehired less than a week ago and hasnt even put together a staff. if you were truly upset today, you just havent been paying attention to the **** around the team (recruiting, current players, on field, off field). it was a disaster in all areas and today is just the embodiment of it

I agree, so many ******* here that whine and complain about EVERYTHING like just stfu and let **** play out. Also, who the **** would want to come to Miami when the head coaches life expectancy here is 3 years and it’s been nothing but mediocrity for the last 15 years. Why waste your college years here when you can go try and beat Bama at Georgia or Clemson.. or just join Bama because that’s a guaranteed ring at this point... y’all have your heads so far up your *** that you still think this **** is anywhere near the way it was when we were a good program..

So stfu, let Diaz and crew do what they are paid to do.. if they suck then complain all you want but give them the time to actually change something here

Shoot, at least we've moved on to our next bit of hope as all hope for me with Richt this past season faded. Just think back to when his retirement was announced and that's your Woosah moment.

I just listed FORTY FIVE Power 5 or high end Group of 5 prospects from the state of Florida...and NONE are currently Miami Hurricanes and we have 14...FOURTEEN(!) commitments in the 2019 class. 14! And we only currently have ONE visit scheduled in January. ONE. There are like 24 listed defensive prospects. Miami has none currently commited from that list.

Why?

And whose fault is it?

I am sure South Carolina backed up the Brinks Truck for John Dixon.

Nobody is at fault obviously. We have elite coaches at every position. The top programs are lining up to poach them from us.

Richts a good guy, but I’m glad he retired because i felt like this program was stuck in quicksand with no way out unless we hired a perfect OC or some ****.

Earlier someone made a post saying that we should shoot for winning the coastal every year and slowly getting it into recruits heads that all we need is them to be great.. but that was met with “tHiS is MiAmi, It’S NaTioNal ChAmpiOns or GTFO”. So freaking aggravating how stupid people are on this board

We did not have a top 5 type Defense. We played the 2nd worst FBS in college football. Anytime we faced a decent offense LSU, GTech, Wisconsin with a running game we get slaughtered. Two of those teams ran for 300+ yards and threw thew the ball less than 15 times. Defense was waaaaay overrated.

Get all these ***wads that supposesly do sooooooo much "behind the scenes" outta my face. At least the recruiting clowns like Banda and Patke might be able to claim they do the actual coaching part of their jobs well (although failing at the other half is still unacceptable).

New rule- if local "insiders" slurp non-coach staff hires as "gamechangers" then be more than suspicious as it's probably only because said "gamechanger" was nice to faux "insider" or fed them some useless info.

look those off field support staff nonsense only really make a diff when you have a product on the field that wins. last year, cooney got us pope. this year we went 7-6 and ended up well you know
