IF the coaches stay true to their plan.

Kaaya and the Heaps will split ALL of the 1st team reps until the next scrimmage. At that point, Golden said that they'll be the only QB's throwing the majority of the scrimmage.

The guy is full of **** so....take it with a grain of salt.

This is the dirty little reality I continue to block out and pretend it will go away. It's going to cost us dearly this year.
 
The danger of information control is that we have no idea if the defense made plays against Kaaya and Heaps or against Rozier or Hoza or Welch. Take these dummied up reports with a boulder of salt.

But conveniently ignore the fact that Duke explicitly stated that Kaaya has more trouble reading defenses and it comes more naturally to Heaps?

Look, the coach will play that guy that gives him the best chance to win. I don't know who is the better quarterback but let camp play out.

**** man I still can't believe what I saw on field goals there is no way that #18 kid is our starting kicker this year even tho I think he's hurt

What a horrendous thread. The stupidity that lurks on this board is truly amazing.

I can see it now. Heaps throws a pick against Loserville, and the clowns on this board will scream for his benching and for Golden to be fired. The same clowns will be self promoting Kaaya until he throws his first pick. Unlike Heaps, the comments will be tempered to state "he's a Frosh" so all will be fine.

Love some of the dumbass fans we have. Same fans that never go to a game and sit at home drinking beer and complaining about every play called.

Agreed. One thing that does not escape my mind is the fact that Duke broke a 50+ yard TD run. Yes, I know it is Duke and he is special; however, a good Defense only allows a couple of big plays the entire summer. Several years ago, I spoke to a former coach who was here during our elite years in regards to our Defense and he told me Miami's old Defense would rarely give up big plays during practices and scrimmages. They were too good and fast. This would be a good indication as to whether or not the Defense is good.
