Not the slightest chance he survives. I’m the most pessimistic person on this site, partially as a a schtick and partially in reality, and I wasn’t even sure he’d fire Gattis 2 years ago. I’ve never been more certain anyone would be fired. There’s not a possible way to spin the results of the last 7 games of the season and comments made by Fran Brown in his presser.

On the field, he was great. Funny how we forget the plays he made this year.
And not one single QB has ever had to carry such an inept defense like Ward. Not one

I want to know why Elko didn’t take him to A&M and hired Jay Batelman instead (who I was a huge fan of at Army but was fired from UNC as DC and was Florida’s LB coach)

Seems like an overall damning indictment of Santucci

Steele shouldn’t have ever been hired. Guidry I can sort of give him a pass for but that was a failure at the end. What is Mario going to do to fix the roster? That’s on him! Guidry sucks but let’s not pretend he has much to play with. The LB and Secondary room’s are the worst we have seen since 1983. DL about to take a massive hit. This is very concerning.

Im not so sure about the scheme point. Maybe at times. #7 bullied every single db yesterday lol. Just straight up out athletic'd and out physicaled the defense. Same with their oline vs our front 7.

He has to be fired, but our defense consists of a bunch of janes.

Hate it because I liked Guidry. I thought he was the real deal when we hired him and even this off-season. I also think he had terrible players to work with.

TBH,,, Salave’a needs to go and you could argue Jason Taylor too. Clint Hurtt is back on the market without a DC title in the NFL. That was Mario’s first choice when hired and makes a ton of sense. Fix DL and DC at the same time

Agreed. The whole Guidry situation is odd to me. I liked him last year. They D had holes, but they played with intensity and were decent. This year the entire defense just looks and feels different. There is constant confusion before and after each play, with players looking around at each other like they aren't sure who was supposed to be doing what. Despite what should be a better DL this year, they are less effective and less aggressive. Kiko looked great last year, this year he is being used differently and is far less effective.

Agree with almost everything you said, with the exception of a "Shannon Dawson on defense". I like Dawson but I believe Cam made his play calling look better. Much like Jordan Travis made Norvell look good.
