It’s incredibly hard to beat a top 10 opponent twice, especially when that top 10 opponent literally lost due to a bone headed play. Think LSU v. Bama in the national championship game back in like 2011. LSU’s reward for going undefeated? Facing the same Bama team they already beat by a smidgen of margins, & then Bama ran them in the rematch for the title.

I didn’t agree w/ the BCS then & I don’t agree w/ the CFP now.

Lanning does a better job of beating inferior teams than Mario. Lanning is putrid in big games and Mario has actually won some big games.
