Final Four vs. UCONN - 4/1 8:49pm EDT on CBS

This game might come down to foul trouble with the bugs, L gotta make sure to keep Omier calm and make sure to not put him in likely foul positions. If Walker has to come on for long streches makes it extremely hard to win. And make sure to create fouls against UConn with drives.

Also another key is to create steals/ clog passing lanes against Andre Jackson.

Also pray that Hawkins has a bad shooting night, can play like Elite wong where no matter what you do you can’t stop him

He's one of the key reasons I think next years team has a solid chance to be better than this years team.

Gonna be so tough to replace Miller and (likely) Wong… but with L’s ability and history of developing players I wouldn’t say you’re wrong.

To me, in a perfect world, we’ll have:

Pack/Bensley
Wooga/Beverly/Robinson
?????/Watson
Omier/Casey/Walker/Jovanovich
?????/Aire/Nwoko

I think Wooga is a NBA 2 so I would love for him to be a 2 next year. The ???? are either transfers or someone from the existing roster develops into the role on a championship caliber team.

I think we have a chance to get away from being a small ball team next year but still having ELITE athleticism with the ability to switch 1-5 against anyone. I know that is L’s dream… but it’s hard to assemble what is effectively a NBA roster on a college team (that level of length and athleticism that switching 1-5 requires).

I said "solid chance," but I am optimistic. Part of that would be either Ruiz and Co. pulling off a Bacot, and getting Wong to come back (I think that unless he's a projected first rounder it would make serious financial sense for him to return), or going into the portal to land another 1-2 top kids. I know we're in love with this team, but remember last year at this time we didn't have Omier or Pack.

Last year's Elite 8 run was a nice thing, but this year it's suddenly who we are as a program. We should be one of the most desirable places to transfer to. A place where you can make a Final Four run, get great NIL, great coaching, live in paradise, play in the ACC, and you don't have to compete against a roster full of 5-stars. A real team.

I think we might be able to plug either Wong or some portal A-level talent into your "?????'s" above. Not to mention that Omier, Wooga, and Pack are going to be seriously experienced, seasoned veteran guys next year.

This isn't over.

Just keep hearing how we have to do so many things to win this game and that UConn is clearly the better team. This sounds so familiar to the last 2 games we just played. The disrespect is unreal.
It's insane. Some podcast said Miami can pull it out if Wong and Pack go for 35 each.. wtf. We just scored 89 and 88 against two top defenses. If we can do that against Uconn it will at least be a good game if not a win.

You know people keep talking like these Final Four teams came out of nowhere, like they were invisible all year and were after-thoughts.

But each and every one of them were ranked in the last AP Top 25 poll at the end of the year. Every one.

UCONN: #10
MIAMI #16
SDSU: #18
FAU: #25

These are four good teams. It's not like the 50th best team in America or something made it this far.
