You do it lol..I think its a legit question because if we wait and we dont get mendoza and uga wants him. That means beck is most likely transferring and i think we would have no choice but to be interested

I would take Mendoza we saw what happens to this team when our QB goes on a give away spree.

Well if UGA wants Mendoza over whatever is happening with Beck, doesn't that answer our question?

Not that UGA is necessarily a good barometer for what we should do at QB but at least they know how to win their conference and playoff games.

I don’t think Beck will even be playing next year based on what @JayCane20 has said. Ewers seems like the big name guy that could be available if we want to play chicken with the NFL draft again.

Beck will be playing. Likely not until June-July to be cleared to throw.

The concern is whether he’s the same guy. Anything can happen in a full reconstruction and rehab process

Thanks for the clarification. I was thinking you said January surgery and up to a year recovery, so I guess I misread. Seems like a roll of the dice that we probably don’t want to risk. But then, I personally like Mendoza.

Well it’s a year for baseball. I looked into it a little bit more for football. Usually about 6 months if all goes right.

Less strain on the UCL throwing a football. Slower arm speed.

Is this a Dawson pick with a Mario sign off or a Mario knows best? Actually curious about such decisions. Dawson obviously doesn’t lack confidence in his beliefs.

It’s not that most fans don’t think Mendoza is good. He is a good college QB. A good college QB can win a National Championship at Georgia given the talent on Georgia’s roster and their ability to play complimentary football.

Miami needs great QB play to compete for a National Championship until shown otherwise.

I swear to god I don’t think anyone on this website ever watched Stetson Bennett play football. Never seen such a disconnect.

He has another year of eligibility if he wants it and could make a ton in NIL next year while re-improving his draft stock.

Not sure where he'll get drafted now..he was already falling to 3rd round from what I saw and that was before his injury. He was a possible #1 overall pick before the season started.

Another year in college is definitely not out of consideration.
