Oh believe me I am aware. I was rooting for them against Clemson AT clemson because of the home game win streak and they completely dismantled Tenn the week before. Beating TWO top 10 teams in back 2 back weeks is impressive, meanwhile in coral gables..
Beat TAMU, FSU, and somehow keep Clemson close and we'll be experiencing the same thing next year.

Why is flipping unlikely? Mario has done this before.

We perform on the field it wouldn't surprise me at all.

Objective fact: Acheampong last year DL/DE

Does it suck? Yes. Do we need DL badly? Yes.

But Mario flipping anyone wouldn't surprise me if we show out (9ish Dubs).

Well there’s likely or unlikely. Would you consider flipping blue-chip kids to be likely? I wouldn’t. It’s possible. Collins is a good example. I wouldn’t be shocked. But you have to say it happens relatively infrequently.

We going to win but not at the level of dominance I was thinking with Mario. Too much parity programs all getting recruiters at the same time and fighting for the cream of the crop.

NIL has changed the game. SCAR could’ve dropped him a massive bag as their top target and then went cheap on other recruit.

Hard to beat the biggest bag over and over for every top target. Only way to win more battles is to have more money, infrastructure and/or win some meaningful games.

Until Miami is doing those 3 things it will be a very rough uphill battle. Miami has to put a better product in the field and more guys into the top couple of rounds in the NFL if we want to start recruiting with the big boys. Until then, classes from 8-15 are our range.

You can win the ACC with those type of classes and the playoff is expanding so it’s a starting point. Have to mail your lower rates evals and develop your talent. Michigan has done an incredible job of this. That’s the blueprint for Miami most likely.

I love seeing people keep defending the NIL and recruiting situation.

WE HAVE MORE KIDS OUTSIDE THE TOP 900 THAN IN THE TOP 250.

Like c’mon bruh, stop sucking him off and making excuses. It’s f^cking right in front of you. Wait til Franklin…ohhh buddy it’s going to be bad on here. We’re not playing the same NIL game. If we were, the bleeding would have stopped.

If he doesn’t win 8 games this year, Mario might be a dead man walking. And that’s a scary thought. We’d owe him 40 mil after 5 years, it’s cheaper to give him proper NIL RIGHT NOW and save this class.

**** USCe gunna have Stewart and Harbor coming off the edge. That’s big time

Mario sneakily getting burnt on the trail this year. Some good gets (Trader, Riley, Lightfoot) but so far the class is looking more like a Manny class then what we thought consistent Mario classes would look like

Putting out atrocious film in route to a nightmare of a season, culminating in FSU performing a bukake ceremony on our home turf will do that to you.

**** we get / got negative recruited to oblivion from every angle when we were a decent club. Imagine these clowns are putting together full quad fold pamphlets and power point presentations on how sorry these kids would be in choosing this U.

Just gotta put good tape out and show signs of player development + schematic strengths. Everything else will take care of itself.

5 Star - QBs, CBs, DT & DEs.

If they’re a 5 star, they just don’t come here for what ever reason. (Definitely not the money)

That **** has to change. Or we can forgot about being a championship contender.

Getting late early on DL recruiting.

Lightfoot is a tremendous prospect, borderline legit 5-star IMO on the edge.

Jones is much of the same inside, an excellent prospect by any measure.

But we all know we need several more kids at these spots. Those 2 and Russell are not gonna cut it.

Of the kids we were significantly in play for:

Stewart now off the board
Scott off the board
Rudolph off the board, but maybe there is a potential for a flip?
Gilmore off the board
Kendall Jackson off the board
Jayden Jackson off the board

So who is still in play?

Kam Franklin is probably target #1 right now, but after 6 visits, still no commitment
Collin Simmons uncommitted, but unlikely
David Stone, looking like OU
TJ Lindsey, not coming
LJ McCray, unlikely as of now
Aydin Breland still in the realm of possibility

So unless we flip some kids, which of course is unlikely, our best case scenario is adding Franklin and Breland to the 3 we have committed? That would be fantastic, but that's adding probably both of the only kids we have a shot with. Unless I'm missing something?

There's a real chance we end up with Lightfoot, Jones, Russell, and then some lower ranked kids who were not priorities this summer. That's not good enough, IMO. And that's with holding onto the commits we do have, which we know Jones has at least somewhat flirted with Five Stars Undrafted.

Who am I missing? I'll judge the class when the ink dries, but as I said, getting real late real early here with what we all wanted to be one of the very best DL classes in the country.

Normally I would share your concerns but with the transfer portal there will be good options available. No reason to stress now.

Who is “sucking him off”? Who is defending him?

At this point the staff and us need the season to start ASAP. They not running away from 5-7, if by reports NIL is fine. Both Jacksons gone, Rudolph, Scott and now Stewart, all had multiple visits, plus OV'd. If yall know me, i dont be hyperbolic about shyyt thats not necessary. Striking out on what u said u poured all energy into......mal. @DMoney does it apply to question "Miami feels good here"?

Yea we better start winning or showing young phenoms who can out class the acc. I ain't trying to reach Michigan them boys are never going to beat the SEC. I don't care if they use that green ninja turtle sh. Problem is those other schools develop talented dudes stacked two deep. I don't care how much Michigan develops they better land some game changer. Or they going to be stuck in the mud.
