Duke about to hire Manny - update: hired

My two concerns with Manny were his ability to establish a positive culture, which was a disaster here. And the fact that our defense got much worse when he became HC.

Maybe he'll have an easier time creating a culture at a school like Duke.

Lou Saban was kinda fired. He resigned because of the players throwing a ****** student in the lake and making a light hearted comment about it.

are they going to have a turn over hoop? turnover net? turnover fork? what's their prop going to be????

also saw a link of Manny's defense rankings... they have always been good for 1 and 2 years... 3 and 4 is when his defenses declined and he got fired.

happened at UT happened at UM. he learned finally and didn't let it get that far at PSU.

I'd say more than likely the celebration will tie in the mens lacrosse team... by the way that pattern was called, ahh **** now I gotta corch up my own recruits.

Yes, but officially-officially, Coker was the first head football coach we ever fired. And he got a job at UTSA.

Randy was only the interim head coach at Florida.

Golden might get a shot soon.

Good for Manny.

that is manny's problem. he doesnt like recruiting and doesnt develop kids, they regress. The talent level at duke might be favorable to his recruiting style but it will expose his defense.

Also the ACC HC's know his defense already. Swinney, Elliott, Norvell, Brown, Key, Brohm all have recent experience vs. Manny

Diaz isn't a good enough recruiter (evals or salesmanship) to win a lot of games at Duke.

As a DC, he's pretty good, and often adjusts well during games. But his results correspond closely and causally with the talent level available to him- and the opponent. He's not an elite DC.

Mediocre hire.
