90% of the board don't have a clue about how football actually works so that sounds about right

we'll get rose or someone else and be just fine

I think Malone looked alright but me personally not sure the fascination

However we do need someone to step in that can log meaningful minutes and make an impact no matter what their size (pause)

I think Malone sucks, but sucks at a larger size (pause) than what we currently have. I think Rose could be a legit player. Neither are coming. It is what it is.

Don’t get me wrong I’m not sitting here going “all is well”. We are in a bad bad spot at the moment (though I like Deen a lot)

Just really hoping Mario’s “moving in silence” stuff has a plan here. I’ve got faith that they are making moves

I’m just trying not to get fixated on one or two guys because it’s all we know

If that makes any sense

That guy there wouldnt have went after Deen and Gore in the portal. Likely wouldve had an nfl level prospect in te boat from january/february...its the 1 thing he did right.

Ninjas cant even get a call back from a dt...and Odell Haggins n Mike Wall Norvell lined up like 3 out the portal including our starter.

These ninjas portal recruiting is bi polar as ****.

Like I said, portal Mario isn’t HS recruiting Mario. People got mad the results speak for themselves. Now that’s not saying Portal Mario is trash, we got some good talent there but he have had some major misses and glaring holes not addressed for whatever reason.

He aint trash int he portal...

just for every good move in the portal there is atleast 2 questionable evals and multiple whiffs.

It just is what it is....mans a beast in hs recruiting...and tryna figure out the portal fully i guess.

Tywone was being recruited by Ohio Taint (same position coach) a couple of years ago. Covid messed up things in 2020 as far as visits and whatnot, and Tywone got injured in his senior year. He was supposed to pick a school in December, but pushed things back to February Signing Day once he was injured, hoping for schools to give him committable offers once he recovered.

Also, Ohio Taint took two higher rated DTs before Tywone, so he would have been the third wheel that year.

How else do we think a kid from New Jersey ends up at Ole Miss?

Yea definitely limited offers after that, he probably wanted to go there out of high school

Well the positions they are missing on in the portal are the same ones they are struggling with for recruiting 🤷‍♂️
