I wanted him at DT when we recruited him, but I don’t think you can move him now after the promise he showed at OG last year (even though he may not even start).

If we strike out with Rose, Guidry is going to have to make it work with LT, JHH, Deen, Moten and Lichtenstein. Pray.

If they somehow get rose the DT looks very solid for this season at least but next year it’ll look scary thin again

Saban quite literally just got ****ed by Mario when we took Skinner out of the blue. You think he gets 100% of the guys he wants? He gets a lot, most of ‘em…but even big bad Bama or Ohio St or Clemson gets trolled in a recruitment every so often. It’s just the day and age of recruiting and how kids act.

There’s getting trolled and then there’s half your staff tweeting nonsense only to find out the very next day they’re not getting the player. It’s a terrible look and makes it seems like it’s amateur hour at the Hecht.

Oh I don’t disagree with that. I think the tweeting is way over-the-top, but it’s for recruits and usually they like the attention. It’s not for fans. So none of our opinions, (especially the keyboard warriors on here) matter.

I think it’s more for run defense than anything. Teams will try to bully us with a lack of interior presence. LT got manhandled at times on the inside run.

You’re right with how Guidry lines guys up though.
 
It'll be interesting to see what happens with this dude. I didn't understand the hype and when OSU through an offer out, I wondered what I was missing. Probably would've come if one of the elites didn't get involved. We should be used to this by now. I'm not even slightly annoyed by it, we gotta show it on the field.

I think we almost use "space eater" as anything over 300 lbs since our DTs are so small....not even 330 or 340 or anything like that.
