Just a reminder not saying this solves anything but i keep seeing u guys put mesidor behind bain as an edge rusher. I think majority of his snaps will be in the interior this year, he said this way before barrow committed too hopefully we can have both here lol

During passing downs Mesidor on the inside will be great. The concern is as an every down DT against the running game.

again Scott and Jones are not your average freshman DT - both massive and can probably argue they are the most athletic dt's in the country... its not every day you come across dt's with that footwork , especially at their size already

True freshman talent some not even enrolled! DT is a grown man position. Is not rocket science and without Barrow we are way weaker in the inside.

I’m aware of the fact that it’s a grown *** position. Justin Scott is grown. Miami will be fine. Scott is as ready to play as it gets on the inside D line. If you wanna talk secondary I’ll listen. That entire group scares me more than losing Barrow. We have enough inside.

Good to know. Part of the difficulty with guys like Scott and Jones is once the recruitments were shut down over the summer (well initially) was there really wasn’t much info that came out during the season. We don’t know how they’ve been progressing during the offseason

With Bain he was under a microscope here and you could see he attacked the off-season like a maniac. I can only assume it will be the same with these other guys but will be great to see when they actually arrive and start practicing
