The speculation, especially surrounding NIL has been rampant and its obvious nobody truly knows anything as even our insiders have been consistently led astray. I just want the positive on field season so if we don't close well down the stretch we can't have 5-7 held above our heads.

Look how spread out the DLine recruiting is this year among top prospects. This is a 5star that picked Ole Miss. We just had one pick Missouri. Texas got Simmons, USCe got Stewart. tOSU got Scott. Arizona got Rushing.

I mean if you just look at the composite rankings only UGA, US, and now Ole Miss have two guys in the top 30 DL (EDGE+DT). Like UF has a solid class. tOSU could end up with a great one since they're projected to get 5star Eddrick Houston to add to Scott.

Just for out team needs we need two top DTs this class. We have one in Jones. We need to keep him, and get one more - Hopefully Stone, which would be beating his home school for. And OU literally has one DLineman committed in the top 100 DLineman (EDGE+DT) - Jayden Jackson. So while the joke is us losing out on prospects frees up cap space, how much do people think OU has free?.. This **** isn't easy when every school can just go all in for one guy. If we land Stone and keep Jones that is likely easily the best DT haul in the country.

People are so stuck on last year they can’t see straight. Last year the stars aligned minus DT. Majority of our highly rated recruits were right around the corner like Img, SFla or in state. Mauigoa, Mcclain , Bain , Fletcher ,Riley Williams , Wayne , Ray Ray ,Robby ,Stafford , Brown , Malik Bryant etc. So minus Okunlola and Popo who did we go steal from all the big boys last year ? Out of state battles. I mean y’all say we were balling so hard and now we have nothing ? We’ve been in it for **** every elite recruit on the DL this year and made a lot of top threes , while being “ broke “.

What’s funny our DT recruiting was god awful last year too but y’all leave that out of the “ we were balling so hard last class “ debate.

Fact is this is the first time in forever we went full on big fish hunting for majority elite guys and we’re getting our asses kicked. That’s just how the game works sometimes. National recruiting for the most valuable position in CFB and only focusing on the elite is a hard battle. Especially when there’s only so many dancing bears on the planet .

I think we get some dudes before the class is finished but to get this thing going you need to show some life on game days.

Now everyone can get back to their temper tantrums.

we have the ****tiest dumbest ******* fans. Obviously not a great outcome early in this class. Everyone with a brain knows how important this season is for the program. Mario can, has and will flip recruits if / when we improve on the field. PS as you know, Horton looks like a legit steal. Full court press for stone, we will see where it lies

My friend, there’s one thing I learned a long time ago, and that’s don’t try to make sense of the complete bull**** that’s posted on these forums. You literally can’t make this stuff up.
