2024 DL Kamarion Franklin 2.0 (commits to Ole Miss)

Maybe the 'prove it on the field' mantra affects more than the recruits. Despite the scoffing about NIL, it sure appears we're on a budget. Win and maybe there's more $upport to compete in the 'up the bag' market.

Or are we drawing lines based in principle?

Excruciating in terms of the face-plant to date at DT, given the stated goal with a supreme recruiter as HC.

We’d have to win a ton because you aren’t flipping big time SEC kids without a) more NIL b) doing better than beating a bunch of garbage unranked ACC teams to finish 8-4. With this schedule we have 8-4 is not impressive at all.
 
I remember Cribby saying a while back he wasn’t nearly as confident as others about Franklin

We just aren’t changing the narrative with these SEC DTs and that ******* sucks…but such is the last few decades in college football.

It’s too bad there were people saying how elite this DT class is going to be (and it still could be great) but you don’t get elite DT classes unless you beat SEC teams for SEC DTs. Until it changes there’s no reason to expect otherwise.

Rich people break as many rules as anyone, they can always pay someone else to do it. Hopefully, someone starts doing it.

I don’t know why. Mississippi lynched more “Black” Americans than any other southern state combined. They were also the last school to integrate. My paternal grandfather is from Okolona, Mississippi and had to hop a train as a stowaway at the age of 14 because a white girl in his town liked him and told her father. They told my great-grandmother that they were gonna lynch him. This is why I’m from Cleveland, Ohio.

It’s not the ppl on here’s jobs! If it was one loss whatever. But we went from were landing the best DL in the nation to missing on every single 5 star with what like 1-2 left? The staff is getting played like a fiddle constantly.
