Yep Raymond is 54 and grew up in the 70’s and 80’s which was a whole different world back then. So unless they’re related or their parents knew each other don’t think there’s a high probability they’ve been friends since he was a child. Maybe he means as younger adults or more likely that they’ve known each other since DJ was a child
